Chapter 6
I sat and intentionally ground bark and forth.
Mark finally couldn’t take it anymore
He pushed me away forerfully
The motion was so strong that even he was startled
I stumbled and nearly fell to the gronieul,
His face flashed with panic
“Honey… I didn’t mean to,”
After steadying myself, I casually glanced at his pants, which had a dark shadow,
Blood must have seeped out again.
My rome was full of concern.
“Babe? What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Let me check.”
With that, I reached to pull down his pants.
Mark however, recoiled as if frightened, shifting backward frantically, only to aggravate his wound.
The pain made him grimace.
His voice squeezed through clenched teeth, tinged with trembling:
*Nothing. I just suddenly need to pee.”
He tightly covered his crotch, thighs pressed together, moving step by painful step toward the bathroom.
I leaned back on the sofa, watching his pathetic figure, my mood improving greatly.
While they were away from home today.
I had installed cameras in every hidden corner of the house.
Ensuring complete coverage, including the bathroom.
In the camera food.
e raw, bloody wound underneath.
Mark carefully removed the bandage, revealing the 1
He took out a tube of ointment from his pocket, and with trembling fingers, study applied it to the wound.
The moment the ointment touched his skin, he gasped in pain.
Yet he hat his lip hard to prevent making any sound.
Watching this, I felt a wave of satisfaction.
1 hadn’t expected Super Clue to be so powerful
1 began to wonder what Lisa’s condition might be like.
Her wound area was larger, surely she must be suffering even more.
After nearly half an hour, Mork foally emerged from the bathroom.
He walked with constantly trembling legs.
I looked up at hin my tone deliberately concerned.
“Babe, are you beally okay?
He forced a smile, responding weakly. “Really fine.”
I smiled.
“That’s good, let’s eat. I’ve prepared a special feast for year two.
At the dinner table. Mark completely froze.
He stared at the table full of spicy crawfish, garlic scallops, spicy crab, his you trembling
“Honey… why so much seafood?”
I smiled sweetly, pushing them both down into their seats,
“You’ve both been taking care of me so well lately, I wanted to treat you. Here have a big prawn. Don’t be shy
Lisa’s face turned ugly too.
She kept her head down, fingers gripping her chopsticks tightly, unable to take a bite.
Mark’s hands shook slightly as he peeled the shell, sweat beading on his forehead
I sat beside them, casually remarking:
“There was explosive gossip in our community yesterday! Apparently a couple got too wild and ended up stuck together, had to be rushed to the ER.”
“I heard they’re from our building, how embarrassing. Wonder if they managed to separate.”
Mark’s hand jerked, dropping the prawn onto the table.
I pretended not to notice, continuing “Babe, do you know who it was??
Mark’s eyes darted around, his voice involuntarily stuttering.
“L.. how would I know?”
“Hmm, why aren’t you two eating? Are you
feeling unwell?”
Perhaps from guilt, they could only force smiles and painfully swallow the food
Meanwhile, I enjoyed my postpartum diet, in an exceptionally good mood
Over the next few days.
I varied the takeout I ordered for them
Cakes and bubble tea, fried chicken and burgers, seafood feasts, Sichuan and Hunan cuisine
Each neal made their faces turn green
Mark walked with his legs increasingly clenched.
And Lisa even could no longer sit down normally.
On the third night.
Lisa finally couldn’t take it anymore.
