Chapter 11
Serenity, along with her children Spencer and the twins, enjoyed a happy breakfast together,
*Sweethearts, make sure to behave well at school and listen attentively to your teacher, okay?” Serenity said lovingly to her kids.
“Okay, Mommy!” The children chimed in unison.
“And Precious, my dear, please make sure to always stay by your brother’s side so he can protect you,” Serenity said to her cheerful daughter who couldn’t wait to make new friends at school.
The mother then turned to her aloof son and said.
“Liam, please remember to–”
“Yeah, yeah, I know, Mommy. I have to be friendly with the other kids at school and always stay by Precious‘ side to protect her. You’ve reminded me twenty–seven times since I woke up Liam cut her off, feeling exasperated at his mother’s constant
nagging.
Serenity was taken aback, unsure of how to respond. She simply looked at her son in disbelief. No matter how mature he seemed, she still struggled to come to terms with it.
Spencer’s laughter snapped her out of her daze as she glared at him
“You know, Liam’s right. You’ve been saying that same thing all through breakfast. Of course, the little prodigy will fucking remember it by now.” Spencer said, laughing and ignoring Serenity’s glares,
“Uncle! You used a bad word!” Precious pointed out
“Oops! I’m sorry, sweetie, Now come on, we need to get going. Spencer said, bending down to pick up Precious.
Serenity also picked up Liam as they made their way out of the house and into Spencer’s car
“Is Mommy coming with us!” Precious asked, her blue eyes sparkling.
“Yes and no. I’ll go with you to school, but Uncle Spencer will be the one to settle you in. As you can see, Mommy doesn’t have a car right now, so I have to borrow Uncle’s car to go to work, Serenity explained patiently, a loving smile on her face.
“Why go through the hassle? You could just buy yourself a car!” Liam said nonchalantly as his mother playfully glared at him, causing him to let out a laugh.
The drive to the twins‘ school was delightful, with the entire family engaged in conversation.
Before they knew it, Spencer declared, “We have arrived. Let’s go inside.” He stepped out of the car and opened the passenger seat for the children to disembark.
“Goodbye, mommy!” The twins exclaimed as they gave their mother a parting kiss.
“Bye, my love! Be careful and have fun, Serenity replied as she watched Spencer and the twins disappear behind the large school gates.
Letting out a sigh, she opened her laptop and checked her emails. After all these years, she was finally going to see him and his family again. Was it fate toying with her?
Soon after, Spencer emerged from the school gates and returned to the car.
“How was it? Are the kids doing well? Serenity immediately asked once he had settled back into the car.
“Relax, woman! They’re doing great. Don’t you trust your own children?” Spencer joked, starting the car to leave.
“Who said I am worried about them? I am simply concerned for the poor children who have to endure their antics,” Serenity replied, feeling exasperated by the mischievous nature of her kids.
Spencer burst into laughter before composing himself and asking. “Are you ready to meet him?”

Even without mentioning his name, Serenity knew exactly who he was referring to.
Letting out a deep breath, she replied, “Why wouldn’t I be ready? I am no longer Serenity Montgomery, the law student who couldn’t even stand up for herself and her pride. I am now Serene Morgan, one of the most esteemed and sought–after lawyers. in the world. Why should I be nervous about meeting people like them?” Serenity answered proudly
Her words and actions lacked any hint of hesitation, displaying her unwavering confidence.
Agreeing with a nod, Spencer’s car drove past a white SUV.
Unconcerned with the occupants of the car, they made their way to the MPK company, where Serenity’s new job awaited her.
After the departure of Spencer, four kids, aged 8 to 10, approached Liam and Precious with an air of superiority. Indeed, even kids like them have the attitude of bullies.
“Hey, you! You must be new here. Are you twins or something? Your eyes hue looks the same.” One of the boys asked.
“No, George! They don’t resemble each other at all except their eyes color, another boy replied with a laugh.
“Hey, you two! Come here!” George called out to Liam and Precious, who simply ignored him.
Being the spoiled brat that he is, George became furious and rushed towards Liam, intending to push himri.
However, just as he reached Liam’s side, the little boy spoke calmly yet icily… “Do you want to hit me? Well, let me ask you first… What does your father do for a living? He must be wealthy because my mother doesn’t waste her time on poor people” Liam said, his hands nonchalantly tucked in his pockets
There was no trace of fear in his eyes as he faced the chubby and tall George in front of him.
“Why should I care about your mother?” George asked with a petulant pout.
father, your
“Hah! Our mommy is a lawyer, and not just any lawyer. She has never lost a case, and she will surely put you your mother, your sister, and even your grandparents in jail. Hah!” Precious said with an arrogant demeanor, one hand on her waist while the other pointed forcefully at George’s face, showcasing her power over him.
George’s legs gave way, and he knelt on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. Even some of the teachers, who initially thought this was just child’s play, couldn’t help but stare at the twins, who looked at George with disbelief
Sébastien and Naoh stood still after entering the gate, stunned by the way the twins handled George and his companions. Were they actually kids?
Precious, being the compassionate little girl she always was, couldn’t help but feel bad for George as she watched him sob.
She quickly rushed to his side on the ground and began to comfort him. “Stop crying. I promise I won’t tell anyone. How can a big boy like you cry like that?”
“Really?” George asked between sobs
Precious nodded eagerly, taking out a chocolate from her backpack and giving it to George and his friends. “Now, you shouldn’t bully others. Bullying is not a good thing. Its really bad to bully others. My mommy taught us that.” She even helped George wipe away his tears.
Meanwhile, Liam watched with a detached expression. As if what was happening didn’t affect him at all.
“Precious, it’s enough. Let’s go.” He finally said, taking her hand and trying to leave. But as they turned around, they came face to face with Sebastien and Naoh, both watching them intently,
“Handsome Uncle!” Precious exclaimed, letting go of Liam’s hand and running towards Sébastien, who opened his arms to
catch her.
Precious happily embraced him, as if she had known him her whole life.
“Hello there, little one. I didn’t think I would see you again so soon, let alone here.” Sebastien said with a warm smile, looking at the joyous little girl in his arms.

Meanwhile, Liam and Naoh stared at each other intensely. After a moment, Naoh couldn’t hold back any longer and approached Liam.
Once by his side, Naoh extended his tiny hand and introduced himself. “Hi, I’m Nach Williams! What’s your name?”
Liam looked at the outstretched hand for a moment before finally taking his own out of his pocket and shaking Naoh’s hand.
“Just call me Liam. And you all can–” However, before Liam could finish introducing Precious, she interrupted from Sébastien’s arms….
“I am Precious. My mother bestowed upon me this name. She said I’m her precious child, Precious proudly announced, introducing herself.
Liam shook his head in disbelief, while Naoh’s wide smile conveyed his excitement at meeting his new classmates.
“And this is my father, Daddy Sebastien, Nach beamed, finally bringing Sebastien out of his reverie
“Oh wow, your father is really handsome!” Precious exclaimed, her head resting cozily against Sébastien’s chest.
Their teachers passing by could not help but stare in amusement and shock, finding the resemblance between man and the little girl uncanny. If they didn’t know better, they would have thought they were father and daughter. Heck! Not to mention. Liam’s resemblance to Sébastien.
“Wait a minute… Liam, could you be my brother? You look exactly like my dad! Naoh suddenly realized, and asked in his innocent voice, his confusion evident in his little handsome face.
Sébastien and Liam turned to face each other, their eyes locking in an unspoken connection. Despite the shock of their resemblance, they couldn’t deny the strong bond between them.
“Are you the man who abandoned my mother after getting her pregnant?” Liam’s blunt question shattered the moment, leaving not only Sébastien but also the teachers around in shock.
“What?” Sébastien was mortified by the accusation.
“Well, since you are not the one who impregnated my mother, you can never be our father. In fact, we don’t need a father at all,” Liam stated nonchalantly, unaware of how mature his words sounded.
Sébastien stood there frozen, his heart aching at the thought of being rejected by his own son if he was the father of the adorable twins.
“What is wrong with me?” Sébastien questioned himself inwardly.
