In the den of the vampires, Julio sat on
corner as they all gathered for a meeting that was set by the king himself.
Everyone was punctual and orderly since their king wasn’t the type to shy away from violence. And not every meeting is being called and headed by the king
So Julio thought the meeting must be of importance. More important than attacking another pack again. And that has been their primary goal for
years.
“King Dome comes.”
Everyone stood up as hushed whispers echoed at the king’s arrival in the hall. Julio stood straight and observed keenly as the air quite literally felt colder upon the king’s presence.
He has seen the king a couple of times, yet he still wasn’t used to the presence that he exides.
It was said he had lived for so long he was older than the oldest werewolf civilization. He was one of the earliest vampires who had ever lived.
Julio was behind most of his comrades but he didn’t need to tiptoe to see the king as he basically towered over almost everyone. And beside him (was his brother, Simon, who was much taller but thinner in form.
No one knew whether they were truly blood related as they have very different features. The king is a dark–haired man with sharp features, and the latter a dirty blonde–almost brown hair with an almost permanent grin on his face. It was the very opposite expression from the king’s sullen onc
Simon barely gets out on has own as he was basically the king’s second in command. He was the person who usually announces plots and plans to
them
But from time to time, he had his special missions. One that wasn’t known to most of them.
But Julio could remember how he went to Black Ridges Pack on his own and killed a guard. Simon hated werewolves as much as the king, but it was the first time he saw him talk to one of them.
That day, he didn’t just talk to Lauren, he also spared her life.
The man was brutal. He didn’t waste time and he was almost as vicious as the king himself that’s why everyone thought they were brothers. Their methods and strength were almost always identical.
But that day, he uw how different Simon was. He could almost swear he saw some sort of gentle amusement in his face–one that he had seen centuries from his own family. When he was still human and they were still alive.
Simon’s deep voice resounded around the dark hall Julio looked at everyone as they slowly followed the command. He could see that the rest was just as intrigued as he was for the meeting.
“We have found the princess.”
Julio’s eyes widened as the rest of the crowd murmured in shock.
“And we have found the Blood Creature. Dimidium Sanguinia“
The responses were controlled earlier, but upon hearing the announcement, the vampire coven had gone wild in shock.
Julio just sat on his seat, eyes wide and mouth agape. He couldn’t believe that after 24 years, they had finally found the reason for all of these lights they have been doing.
But he still couldn’t find the relief and rest he was seeking.
Something was bothering him. There was still this connection he was looking for…
“It’s finally over” Someone said,
“It’s not,” but was immediately cut off by the king himself.
Julin shifted on his seat as the crowd went still and silent with his booming voice,
duling the same air he breathes.
He had this quiet and stillness around him that felt so lethal Julio could inugine someone dying by just inhaling i
“My princess is in the captivity of the enemies. It is my mission to all of you to get her for me. One will be rewarded for anyone who does”
Murmurs and whispers echoed around the hall again. Julio could see everyone getting both agitated and excited for the news

It was dark in the place, but with the burning torches on the side and the slivers of light coming from the holes on their roof, Julio could clearly see the fear in the man’s red eyes. But he was determined to be rewarded–as everyone else was.
The king barely moved on his spot in front when he spoke.
“You will know who she is once you see her. She is almost identical to me. Dark hair, pale skin, but with dark eyes. You have seen her already, and you have bitten her.”
The coven once again whispered and murmured. The

I how they had already seen the princess and yet they hadn’t taken her yet.
It has always been their primary goal. They have been ransacking packs all over the country just to find their lost princess
Vampires used t
to not meddle e with any other creatures business. They have been antagonized for centuries and they have been trying to prove the stories wrong by keeping in the dark, but with King Dorne’s command, they have been living by the society’s perception of them.
Evil, Ruiner. Bloodsucking killers, Julso has always known they had a dangerous nature, and that the stories about them had basis of genumity. But to kill villages and packs just to get what they want was beyond he’d imagined.
He’s been a vampire for decades–he could barely count the years he’s lived. But this was the first time the king wanted something so bad he was willing to risk getting annihilated again, as they almost were.
“Take her to me and you shall be granted the Blood of the Old. You will never go hungry again?
et the princess
The king’s proposition entirely made the coven wild. Julio watched as everyone started getting to their groups and plan to get identical to the king.
Slowly, Julio raised his hand, his chest heaving up and down in nervousness.
Julio, the Seeker,” Simon called as the king saw him.
The entire place went silent. Julio put his hand down slowly as for the first time in decades, his skin felt cold to himself. He was under the king’s blood red gazes. It was brighter than most of them.
“Y–Your Grace,” he stuttered. He nervously looked away when he couldn’t take the king’s gazes on hir
But he needed to confirm the thought in his mind
“H–have you ever contacted the princess? Is she aware of her origin! Does she know what she is?” He babbled. But he needed to know.
Everyone looked at the king and waited for his answ
“Yes,” Julio held his breath. The king had no expression on his face, but he could almost sense something burning around his presence.
The air felt h
heavier
“I have been in her mind as of late. Simon has seen her in person. But she knows nothing of her origin nor her true identity”
The entire hall went silent.
Julio swallowed and once again gathered courage to ask.
“My King. I just want to know what if her power awakens when she stays with the enemy? What if
“Then you will invade their territory and take her. Haven’t you been there more often than the others, Julio
His eyes widened and gasped. He looked down nervously as his skin crawled.
“F*ck. He can’t know. Nobody should know?
“No sin goes unpunished, but if you give me the princess, then you will be absolved”
Julio’s head snapped up. His hund shook as he clasped them up “T–Thank you, My King. I will take her”
The king finally looked away from him and turned to the others.
“Prepare for a war. The time has come. Once we get the prints and the Blood Creature, ours will be the world.”
Cheers and screams resounded all over the hull. Everyone was excited for the fight. They have been preparing for years for this. They have planted all necessary plots so they could win against the more populated and physically stronger werewolves.

He didn’t like how he was caught. He didn’t want anyone to know. He’s basically branded as a traitor now. He could see it in the faces of the people. watching him

“Whur” He challenges. A group looked at him–the other Seekers who went to rove around packs with him before they invaded and attacked–but they just continued glaring at him.
He rolled his eyes at them and started planning his own attack.
He smirked. He knew he had an advantage.
