Chapter 113
Back at campus, Brynn gave Josh and the others a quick breather before launching into the day’s lecture. But halfway through, something felt off.
Aside from Josh and Jeffrey, not a single student in the class could perform basic diagnostics. “A whole damn year of training. and they can’t even differentiate syndromes? she wondered.
The weight of reviving traditional medicine suddenly felt heavier. If standard teaching fails, time for unconventional methods, she thought.
Brynn thought for a moment and said to Jeffrey. “Jeffrey,” she ordered. “Take Josh’s pulse and analyze his condition.
Jeffrey glanced at Josh with disgust. “Mrs. Johnson, can we switch with someone else!”
Josh snorted, “That’s right, Mrs. Johnson, you should switch me with someone else.”
Brynn had a strange feeling that she was taking care of children in kindergarten. ‘How long would these two “elementary school students continue to argue? she wondered.
Exhausted, Brynn shot Jeffrey a stern look and flat–out rejected his idea. “No way. You’re tight with everyone in class–they’d totally cover for you
Jeffrey and other students were speechless.
Josh couldn’t help but laugh.
Josh, you too. Don’t try to retaliate later,”
Brynn narrowed her eyes slightly. “I’ll verify it after Jeffrey finishes checking your pulse.”
Josh thought, As if I’d be that petty
Having no choice, Jeffrey reluctantly began to check Josh’s pulse. However, as he checked, Jeffrey’s expression became a little
What the hell?‘ he thought, a cold sweat forming on his neck. Do I have some terminal illness I don’t know about or something?
Seeing that Jeffrey didn’t say anything for a long time, Brynn encouraged him, Just tell me what you see. It’s okay if you’re wrong
Jeffrey scratched his head, his face filled with doubt. “Mrs. Johnson, then I’m going to say it,” he said hesitantly. “Uh, Josh, it seems like you’re pregnant.”
The rest of the class sat in stunned silence, unsure how to react.
“Jeffrey, are you messing with me?” Josh snapped, yanking his hand back abruptly.
Jeffrey looked genuinely hurt, his hands raised defensively. “Tm not messing with you! I really felt a pregnancy pulse. I’m confused too–can men even get pregnant?”
Brynn sighed heavily, stepping between them before the situation escalated further. “Alright, alright, stop it, both of you,” she said firmly, her tone brooking no argument.
It was painfully obvious that Jeffrey had strong theoretical knowledge but lacked practical skills. ‘How could he diagnose al pregnancy pulse in a man? This is ridiculous! Brynn thought. Her head was starting to throb.

Chapter 113
Standing by the podium, she scanned the room calmly. “Everyone, I now have a general understanding of your situations.” She paused briefly before continuing, “Starting today, Josh will be the class monitor.”
At the mention of his new role, Josh instinctively straightened his back, his expression turning serious.
“Josh, as the class monitor, for the next month, you’ll lead the entire class in memorizing the Foundations of Traditional Medicine, Diagnostics in Traditional Medicine, Herbal Pharmacotherapy, and Formulation Science of Herbal Remedies.”
With that, Brynn grabbed her things, clearly eager to leave. She didn’t want to hear any complaints. But as soon as her words sank in, groans erupted throughout the classroom.
“Mrs. Johnson, isn’t this way too much to memorize?” one student called out.
“Yeah,” another chimed in, just the Foundations of Traditional Medicine alone would take me a month to memorize!”
How are we supposed to master all of this in just a month they thought.
