George thought the person shouting was from his school, so he naturally assumed the “he” in the student’s mouth referred to the patient Thomas was treating.
“Thomas has been following me for so many years and has inherited most of my medical skills. But to have achieved what he has today is also due to own hard work.”
George looked triumphantly at Gary, praising Thomas. “Mr. Buckman, don’t be sad. This student from your school is just too young. He just needs to learn more in the future.”
He thought his words would embarrass Gary, but Gary looked calm, even a little like he was holding back laughter.
George thought. ‘Gary must be dumbfounded. Seeing George’s dumbfounded look, Gary said with a smile, “Mr. Marshall, you’d better look back first.”
George frowned, a sense of foreboding creeping into his mind. He looked down towards the audience and saw that old. patient walk back energetically. Not only that, but the alarming bruises on his body were visibly much lighter.
George’s face twisted in shock. ‘No way. Did that actually work?‘ he thought. “That’s impossible! How is he cured? “The students from Asclepius Medical College were just as stunned, their eyes wide with disbelief.
Then Thomas went to all the trouble to perform the surgery, wasn’t it a bit unnecessary?”
“Ugh,
what nonsense.” Thomas’s supporter glared at the speaker. “It must be a coincidence. Thomas is still very good.”
The Panacea Medical School student smirked. “Who’s ‘useless now! Herbs for the win.”
On stage, George’s face darkened. Just a fluke.” He scoffed. “Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.
As soon as his words left his mouth, there was an exclamation from the mobile operating room. “Oh no, Thomas, the patient has stopped breathing.
Inside the mobile operating room, a pale–faced student stumbled out in panic. Meanwhile, Thomas–still basking in the crowd’s admiration–abruptly froze at the news and rushed inside.
George was also startled. He couldn’t be bothered to continue bragging to Gary and immediately rushed to the operating
room.
“Mr. Marshall, he… When Thomas saw George coming, he pointed at the patient on the bed, but he was so anxious that he couldn’t speak properly.
George’s face darkened, “What’s going on? Wasn’t the surgery just now a success?”
The people in the operating room anxiously began to carry out all kinds of emergency measures, but the patient on the bed still did not respond.
“Chad!” Dallas‘ joy vanished as he realized his son had stopped breathing. He stood frantic outside the mobile OR, only to watch helplessly as the modern medicine team froze–utterly useless.
Dallas was anxious. This was his only child. Nothing could happen to him. Thinking of this, Dallas rushed to Josh and grabbed his hand. “Doctor, please save my son Dallas’s voice trembled with a hint of crying.
Josh quickly turned to Brynn. “Mrs. Johnson. I’m not capable enough, but you definitely are.”
Dallas then remembered that Brynn had been guiding Josh the entire time he was treating him, so he knelt down in front of Brynn. “Doctor, please save my son
