Alexander’s mind was in a complete mess.
He dated Sophia for over two years.
When she was preparing to continue her postgraduate studies this year, she would occasionally stay overnight in her off–campus apartment because she
studied too late
But the two of them did not take the final step.
Actually, he had been dissatisfied because of this matter.
They had several silent fights mostly because of this reason.
He still remembered the time when they argued the most fiercely.
Sophia cried inconsolably,
And he wouldn’t even coax her a single word.

Sophia had no mother, and her father had already remarried and started a new family with children, completely ignoring her.

He just stared at the girl in his arms.
He had a moment of confusion and bewilderment.
