Chapter 19
“Aria, I think you’ve gone mad.”
Larry felt his chest tighten as he looked at Aria, the corners of his eyes tinged red.
He could see that the light in Aria’s eyes was still beautiful, but those sparkles had shattered, mixed with coldness.
“Who’s really the one going mad here?”
Aria stepped closer to Larry.
Larry wanted to back away, feeling somewhat guilty, but his pride kept him frozen in place until Aria was right in front of him.
Her gaze swept over his neck, and her hand gently came to rest on his chest. Larry hesitated but didn’t resist. Aria adjusted his tie, her voice filled with iciness.
“You come before me covered in love bites, showing off your mistress without any attempt to hide it, and yet you say I’m the one making a scene.”
Aria grabbed his tie, and Larry followed her pull, bending down with widened eyes.
Their faces were nearly touching, close enough that he could smell the faint milky scent on Aria.
He knew Aria loved drinking milk, and her body wash had the same fragrance. While other adult women wore seductive, alluring scents, hers was sweet and innocent. Yet paired with her striking features, it made anyone who caught that scent want to take her soft, delicate hand and devour her whole to see if she was truly as sweet as she smelled.
He seemed somewhat entranced.
Lost in a daze.
The next moment, a sharp slap across his face jolted him back to reality.
“Aria! You’ve lost your mind!”
Larry instantly snapped back, rage surging in his chest as he stared furiously at Aria.
“Didn’t you deserve that slap?”
Aria stared back at him fearlessly.
“Between getting a hotel room with another woman and bringing Lucy to the hospital, one slap is getting off easy.”
Her logic was clear, completely unfazed by Larry’s current fury.
“I see you’re just trying to force me into a divorce.”
Larry held his slapped cheek, speaking through gritted teeth. “Aria, I won’t let you off so easily.”

Aria slightly furrowed her brow, her gaze falling on Lucy, who was genuinely feverish but still calculating advantages and disadvantages despite her foggy state.
“Lucy, since you and Larry love each other so much, why don’t you push a little harder to make him agree to divorce me?
“That way, you’ll become Mrs. Spencer.”
She knew Lucy understood.
Lucy appeared confused, but inside, waves of excitement surged.
Yes, Aria was right. If she wanted to become Mrs. Spencer, she needed them to divorce first.
She would need to use some tricks, otherwise by the time she got her position, Larry might be surrounded by countless other
women.
Archer watched the scene expressionlessly, only frowning when Aria touched Larry, as if she had touched something dirty.
“Aria, I will not divorce you.”
Larry remained stubborn. He refused to let Aria go, not just because of their intertwined interests, but also because… he hadn’t exacted enough revenge yet!
Aria lowered her eyes and spoke casually, “So you really don’t want to end this amicably?”
Larry didn’t understand.
She kindly explained.
“I wonder if photos and videos of you and that woman at the hotel last night were captured.
“Spencer Corp’s stock price was already affected when you and Lucy were caught fooling around in the car and it made headlines.
I had to claim I was the woman involved to suppress the story.”
