Chapter 7
Isabel stood holding a bunch of daisies and smiled gently.
“Liora, this is all I can do for you. I hope you find happiness from now
on.”
Hearing her words only made Noah more certain that I wasn’t dead.
“Where is Liora?” he demanded.
He grabbed Isabel’s shoulders, his grip tight. She cried out in pain.
“Let me go, you jerk! Liora died because of you! What more do you want?”
Noah tightened his hold.
Isabel, scared he’d ruin her life again, finally gave in and tremblingly told him the truth.
That day, I hit my head and passed out. That was when my college senior found me
Kingsley Yeager was the one who had been texting me.
We had originally planned to leave after a week, but it was moved up to two days.
Realizing something was wrong, he secretly sent someone to watch over me. That was how he showed up in time at the Hilton Hotel to save me.
When Kingsley took me away, he also hired an agency to fake my death. Wesley knew about it but kept quiet because Kingsley threatened him

with his company.
He forced Wesley to lie to Noah, telling him I was dead.
After that, I followed Kingsley to Miami.
He was one of the investors in a dance school and got me in.
At first, people looked down on me because of my connections. But once I performed on stage, my dancing convinced them.
For the past two years, I had been working hard, aiming to win the Paris Dance Competition.
It was my mother’s dream.
Years ago, my father accompanied her to compete when they died in a plane crash.
Kingsley always supported me, helping quietly behind the scenes.
A year later, after receiving an award, a reporter interviewed me. Kingsley showed up holding a bouquet of fairy kiss roses.
I understood his message right away–those flowers meant hidden love.
Then, he pulled out a blue diamond ring tucked among the petals. The whole audience gasped.
That ring had once been sold for a huge price at an auction and was one of a kind.
We looked at each other and smiled, thinking back to how we first met during our freshman year in a club.
I was performing a folk dance at a club dinner while Kingsley played the piano.

He was drawn to me when he saw me dance, falling for me instantly.
Back then, the only person I could see in the crowd was Noah.
On my wedding day, Kingsley showed up. He brought a gift and wished
me well.
Before he left, he looked at me with deep emotion.
“Liora, if this marriage ever brings you pain, don’t be scared to turn around. I’ll be here, waiting to catch you.”
Somehow, I ended up saving his number.
Looking back, maybe a part of me already knew how things with Noah would end, and I quietly gave myself a way out.
Just as the ring was about to be placed on my finger, someone suddenly slapped it away.
“Liora, you can’t marry him!” Noah looked at me with bloodshot eyes.
“Liora, you’re my wife! How can you marry another man?”
I looked at him indifferently.
“Sir, you must be mistaken. I don’t know you.”
When he saw how firm I was, his voice turned softer.
“Liora, I’m sorry for jumping to conclusions. But you knew the truth all along–why didn’t you tell me? You know how I feel. We’ve been through so much. It shouldn’t end like this.”
Kingsley stepped back and gently dispersed the crowd. He wanted to give me room to process this relationship
I noticed Kingsley’s men driving off the paparazzi hiding in the corner, so

I didn’t see the point in keeping up the act.
Noah mistakenly thought it was his chance.
“Liora, since you finally admit it, can you forgive me?”
“Forgive you? Noah, I told you everything before, but you never trusted me.”
