At that moment, Celeste, just like in the original storyline, expressed her gratitude. “I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I already have plenty of clothes, so you should take these two back and exchange them for outfits you like better.”
Amity Supermarket had a return and exchange policy as long as the items were in perfect condition and could be resold.
Phoebe hesitated for a moment but ultimately agreed
The next day, Phoebe woke up early before Evelyn, as usual, to prepare breakfast for the family.

Teeling a bit shy, Phoebe replied, “I used to help my aunts in the village cook, sol gress I got a bit skilled over time.”
After breakfast, Gideon and Celeste left for work. As usual, James went upstairs to take a map.
After the Locke family left, Phoebe didn’t try to take over the dishwashing from Evelyn. Instead, she turned and went upstairs to get the clothes she had bought yesterday, planning to exchange them at the store later
Halding the clothes, she went downstairs. Remembering her experience with an upset stomach the day before, she decided to leave the clothes on the couch and quickly dashed to the Barkroom
When the came out, she noticed the clothes on the couch were gone.
Strange. Where are my clothes?”
Phoebe searched the house and suddenly heard the sound of water coming from the yard. She humid outside to check and found Evelyn scrubbing clothes on a small stool in the yard. Upon closer inspection, she saw that the shirt Evelyn was washing was exactly the one the had intended to exchange.
“Evelyn!” She rushed over and anached the shirt from Evelyn’s handh, her tone urgent. “Why did you wash my cloches?”
Evelyn looked at her inconfusion
Phoebe pointed to the shirt with a sense of grievance. “This is the outfit I was going to return to Amity Supermarket er! How am supposed to exchange at after you washed it?” Evelyn understood and asked, “Phoebe, if it was, why would you put it in the dirty laundry banker? How was I supposed to know it was your clothing that you wanted to return?
Phoebe sighed in resignation. “I clearly left it on the couch, not in the dirty laundry basket. Where’s the other piece!”
Evelyn pulled out another outfit from the souling basin. “Is this one also yours?
