Phoebe nodded. After that, she wanted to head to the store since the clothes were already dry, so she left shortly after informing Evelyn and Natalie.
Once Phoebe was gone, Natalie didn’t sit idle. She pulled over a small stool and joined Evelyn to help pick the vegetables.
After a while. Evelyn sighed, seemingly lost in thought. “How do you think seafood should be cooked to taste good? I used to just steam it, but that tends to have a fishy smell, and Mr. Locke and Mrs. Lock don’t like rod to begin with.”
