Chapter 28
Lucy looked at Ashley and found it amusing.
In the past, when she was annoyed and ignored him, he would do the same thing
Back then, she thought this might just be a sign of sibling affection, so she would indulge him
Now, she chuckled and said, “Ashley, it looks like you haven’t cleared the confusion from your head yet.”
Ashley stared at Lucy in disbelief, “What did you just say?”
This was his excuse to try and make up with Lucy
But to his surprise, even with him lowering himself, she wasn’t buying it.
Lucy replied,” said you’re an idiot.”
Ashley raised his voice slightly, sounding aggrieved, “My hands and feet hurt, you really don’t care about me anymore?”
Lucy rolled her eyes at him. “Not my problem.”
After saying that, she called out to Demi and continued walking with the basin.
Ashley was left fuming. “Lucy, you really are something.”
“I’ve seen through you this time.”
He was upset that she didn’t care about him as her brother, she had become increasingly ruthless.
Although he spoke harshly, he felt a pang of discomfort inside.
Lucy didn’t stop or turn around, “it’s good you’ve seen through me, go wash your brain out.”
Ashley was rendered speechless
When they came back from washing up, Demi saw Cohen standing in the spot where Ashley had been.
She turned to Lucy, “He’s here to see you again, isn’t he?”
She really didn’t understand.
Whether it was Leo or Mr. Bailey, both were openly helping Gracie, standing against Lucy
Yet secretly, they would come to Lucy seeking peace.
She felt Lucy’s description was apt; they must have water in their brains.
Lucy was also speechless, these two kept coming back; were they crazy?
So before Cohen could speak, she said first, “You should also pour the water out of your brain.”
Cohen was rendered speechless.
He darkened his expression, “My brain isn’t waterlogged.”
Lucy shrugged, “Then you’re an idiot too.”
Cohen suddenly laughed, “Does it feel good to vent? If it does, let’s talk.”

He glanced at Demi, then looked back at Lucy
In a lowered voice, he said, “If you keep this up, I won’t mind making our relationship public.”
Lucy raised an eyebrow, “It’s just an ex–boyfriend, if you want to make it public, go ahead.”
Coben was about to lose it told you, I don’t agree to the breakup.”
He had never wanted to break up with Lucy, and he didn’t agree with it.
Lucy rolled her eyes, “I don’t care whether you agree or not. I’ve already kicked you out unilaterally.”

Cohen insisted. If you talk to me alone, Fl give you the space you want.”
He felt that if they didn’t clear things up, they would drift further apart.
Especially seeing Parker getting close to her
Lucy shook her head, “If you’re here to get me to delete the recording, don’t bother.”
Hearing this, Cohen’s expression changed slightly.
He didn’t expect Lucy to know that Gracie had asked him to get her to delete the recording
Lucy continued to watch Cohen, finding his sudden change in expression amusing

Parker pushed Cohen, who was standing in the way, aside. “Great, then call me tomorrow. I’ll get up early to help out.”
Lucy nodded at him. “Okay!”
She waved her hand. “Let’s go back to our room, and you get some rest too.”
Parker waved at them “Good night!”
Because Parker was deliberately blocking the way, Cohen could only watch Lucy leave
After seeing Lucy return to her room, he coldly looked at Parker, “Mr. Leo, meddling in other people’s affairs isn’t a good habit.”
Parker raised an eyebrow, “Mr. Bailey, being persistent and clingy isn’t a good habit either.”
“She’s already disgusted by you, yet you keep pushing yourself on her. What makes you so pathetic?”
He really didn’t eavesdrop on their conversation on purpose.
He had just come out of the restroom, and the three of them happened to be standing there.
What he didn’t expect was that Lucy and Cohen seemed to be on bad terms.
He looked Cohen up and down, sensing an air of sleaziness about him.
It was a good thing Lucy had broken up with this guy.
He was also puzzled.
Given Cohen’s demeanor, it didn’t seem like he wanted to break up, so why was he opp
opposing Lucy?

Cohen chose another woman over his girlfriend. What face does he have to ask Lucy to reconcile?
Cohen’s expression grew colder. “Don’t interfere in matters between Lucy and me.”
Parker smirked. “Who do

He then crossed his arms with a provocative look. I’m going to interfere. What are you going to do about it?”
Lucy was his savior, so he definitely couldn’t stand by and watch her fall into a trap
“You!” Cohen had never encountered someone so unreasonable and arrogant.
He furrowed his brow and looked at Parker uncertainly. “Do you have any ulterior motives towards Lucy?”
Parker didn’t seem like the type who would always stand up for women
Parker stroked his chin and thought for a moment, then asked, “Is saving someone’s life and being devoted to them considered having ulterior motives?”
Actually, that didn’t sound too bad.
Cohen’s gaze grew even colder. “Parker, Lucy is not someone you can have designs on. Please don’t entertain any wrong ideas.”
He had been wondering since the show began why Parker always sided with Lucy and clashed with the Ashleys and him.
It turned out Parker had improper thoughts about Lucy. How despicable!
Parker sneered
He even patted Cohen’s shoulder with a touch of provocation. “You don’t need to worry a about it, ex boyfriend.”
Saying that, he walked away, not wanting to continue talking to someone he considered mentally deficient.
