It took the film crew three days to get there.
Lily got sick from the altitude, which held
them up for a day.
Mom, Jake, and Liam were all super stressed
out.
Jake even threatened to turn around.
“We should just drag her back. Lily’s sick, she
can’t handle this.”
Lily stopped him.
“I haven’t seen my sister in three years.”
“Please, Jake, I really want to go.”
Jake gave in
く
Jake always listens to Lily.
She’s his favorite sister.
Liam agreed, shaking his head. “Why do you
even want to see her? You’re too kind.”
I bowed my head.
Kind?
In their eyes, I was the bad guy.
Lily, who was always sweet–talking, always
thinking of others, was the good one.
“SARAH!”
Jake’s yelling startled me.
I whipped around.
Jake was fuming.
The flower shop was pretty, but there was no
one there.
He thought I’d tricked him again.
Lily came up in her girly dress. “How could
my sister do this to us? We came all this
way!”
“Is this Sarah’s flower shop? I remember, she
loved flowers.”
That gave Jake an idea.
“Hiding, huh?”
Jake said coldly, “Smash it all.”
He wanted to force me to show myself.
Whenever I did something he didn’t like, he’d
always do this to me.
The security guards started destroying
everything.
I tried to stop them.
But everyone just walked right through me.
The flower shop was a mess.
I opened the shop when I first got there.
I thought it would be closed by now.
Mary was taking care of it for me.
Then the director yelled, “There’s a letter
here!”
Everyone stopped.
Jake took a step forward, then stopped.
“Toss it.”
“Toss it?” the director blurted out.
He lowered his voice. “It says, ‘A Letter to My Family.‘ Shouldn’t we see what Miss Smith
has to say?”
Jake didn’t say anything.
The director shrugged

- it.
“Read it.”
Liam finally spoke up.
The director looked at Jake.
He didn’t protest.
