Lauren flinched as he slammed the door of their room. That’s when her tears cascaded down her cheeks, and she couldn’t help but sob.
Aloud cheer was suddenly heard all over the place and Lauren scrambled on her way towards the window.
There, she saw the pack members throwing a surprise birthday party for Decian, as their Alpha.
Lauren saw the surprise in Declan’s eyes, as well as the anger subsiding from him as Vivienne who was walking towards him in the middle of the crowd, held a cake as they all sang happy birthday to him
Lauren couldn’t help her tears when she saw how he hugged her after he blew out the candle. Their pack members cheered, oblivious by the fact that someone was hurting about what they were cheering for.
