Nick had thrown a massive fit, but it accomplished nothing.
As nightfall approached and Mia remained nowhere to be found, Nick had no choice but to call for reinforcements. Even the friends and family who had come to attend their wedding were recruited to join the search for her.
Nick didn’t sit idle, either. While he moved with the search party, he kept sending Mia messages, one after another.
