Chapter 113
Ethel’s face became distorted, and Blara could see it clearly on the phone.
“What are you doing, Elara?” Ethel wanted to go through the video call and grab Elara’s hand badly. She was staring at her screen with her eyes so wide that it felt like they were about to fall out at any moment.
“What evidence could you possibly have on me? There’s no way I would fall for your tricks!”
Then, Elara said to her, “Madam Foster, you’ll find out if I’m lying to you in seven business days. By the way, the evidence I’m posting now will only make you lose the official achievements you’ve obtained. If you offend me again, then I’ll make sure you lose your glorious life!”
Hearing the warnings, Ethel thought Elara was just trying to provoke her. “Haha! Go ahead and report it! I want to see just how capable you really are. It’s not like you’ll be able to destroy my whole world anyway.”
To Ethel, Elara was just a village bumpkin who had never seen the outside world and had no idea just how powerful Ethel really was in Capitol. So, Ethel started laughing so brightly that her lips shone on the screen.
“I was about to go easy on you for Bambi at first, Elara. Since you’re reporting me, then you’re dead to me! I’ll never let you see Beau ever again!”
Ethel’s gaze was cold as she announced Elara’s punishment like a judge. She had sentenced Elara with the worst punishment, making the latter lose Beau for good. She wouldn’t even let Elara see Beau at all!
That was what Elara was afraid of the most in the past. When Beau was two years old, the Fisher family planned on sending him away for the best education system. That meant he would have to leave his parents behind.
Back then, Elara couldn’t accept it at all, and she kneeled in front of Ethel and begged the latter desperately. So, Ethel knew clearly what Elara’s weakness was.
Ethel thought Elara was just throwing a tantrum by taking Merida away. She figured Elara just wanted to attract Harvey’s attention. After all, since Beau and Merida were in the same school, Elara could see Beau whenever she wanted.
Ethel looked into the camera and said to Elara, “You’ll lose your son forever!” After saying that, she waited for Elara to start begging her for mercy again like before.
However, Elara just smiled at the camera and said, “I hope you can keep your promise, Madam Foster.”
“What?” This time, it was Ethel’s turn to be surprised.
Elara ended the call right away and let out a long sigh while facing the phone. If Beau really could ignore her existence, then it wouldn’t be that bad at all. That way, he wouldn’t defame her again like all the other ill–intent people.
Beau had hurt Elara multiple times like a rusted blade, and he would always attack her existing wounds before they could even recover.
Elara closed her eyes a little. Just as she was about to put her phone down, she received a new message. She took a glance at it and realized that the account to her X account had been changed. After feeling stunned for a moment, she hurriedly tapped into her X account.
She wanted to log into the account she hadn’t visited in a long time. However, it was stated that her password was
incorrect.
Back at the Jones residence, Niamh was lazily slouching on the couch. She tilted her head to the side as she put her

“Niamh, I’ve successfully acquired Elara’s X account! She has a lot of videos and pictures of her children on it, and there are multiple notes as well. All of these are set to private.”
Then, Niamh asked, “Are the private posts all criticisms toward her own children and husband?”
The hacker, Elliot Stark, answered, “Yes. Let me read you the latest private post she made. ‘Harvey, you said you’ve paid back your debt to my father. In that case, can you return all the love I gave you?‘ Wow!”
Elliot chuckled mockingly, “It looks like Elara is full of anger on her X account!”
