“Daddy!” Beau ran toward Harvey excitedly with his backpack on his back. Since it was rare for Harvey to come to pick him up, Beau was really happy.
The mothers who saw Harvey were so stunned that they couldn’t even walk anymore.
Cyrus approached Elara and said respectfully, “Please get in, Ms. Jones.”
She rejected the offer and said, “There’s no need for that. Medina and I can just take a taxi to the restaurant.” She didn’t want to be in a confined space with Harvey.
Cyrus tried to put in a few good words for Harvey. “Mr. Fisher Is here just to pick you and Ms. Merida up today.” Elara ignored him and just took out her phone, planning to book herself a ride. So, Cyrus returned to the Mayback and reported back to Harvey
A short while later, Elara’s phone started ringing, and she thought it was the driver of the ride she had booked So, she answered it and heard Harvey’s cold voice.
“I’ve told all the rides to avoid this area. If you want to walk to the restaurant with Merida, I’m not going to stop you.”
Elara took a deep breath when she heard that, thinking how persistent he was. So, she grabbed Merida’s hand, and they walked toward the Maybach together. Then, she let Merida get in the front passenger seat before walking to the driver’s side. “Get out.”
Since Harvey came all the way to the school to pick up Elara for a meal, the driver thought it was clear that he wanted to fix his relationship with her. So, despite not knowing what Elara was up to, the driver had no choice but to obey her orders and get out of the car.
After that, Elara got in the driver’s seat. When she was done settling in the car, she asked Harvey, “Which restaurant are we going to?”
Harvey was a little surprised when he realized she was going to drive them. He wondered if she was in a rush to please him. With that thought in mind, Harvey was amused and decided to let her be the driver for once.
Harvey gave her the name of a restaurant, and it was a well–known place that served exotic food. Usually, a reservation had to be made a month earlier just so the patron could enjoy the room with the best view.
After Elara set the destination on the navigation system, she slammed the gas pedal hard. The strong g–force caught Harvey and Beau by surprise. As the vehicle screeched along the road, Harvey immediately helped Beau

on the seatbelt.
Just as Harvey was about to say something, the Maybach suddenly drifted and interrupted him. So, he had no choice but to curse at Elara in his mind, thinking how awful her driving was! After all, she was driving the Maybach like it was an off–road vehicle on an uneven surface.
When the car almost scraped another car, Beau froze in his seat with his eyes wide open in shock. On the other hand, Merida didn’t feel uncomfortable at all in the front passenger seat of the rushing Maybach. After all, she often exercised and had a faster reaction time.
As the vehicle got on the freeway packed with cars, it swerved from side to side while moving nonstop.
The journey would’ve taken more than 30 minutes. However, due to Elara’s professional driving, they arrived at their destination 15 minutes earlier.
Harvey’s face had clearly turned pale as he sat in the backseat, and he pursed his lips tightly.

As for Beau, he immediately started puking after getting out of the vehicle. After he was done throwing up, he pointed at Elara angrily while placing his other hand on his chest. “You did that on purpose!”
It wasn’t Beau’s first time riding the car Elara was driving. However, It was her first time driving it that harshly.
“You’re terrible at driving! Even a rollercoaster is more comfortable than that!” Beau stomped his foot and continued throwing up after that. He didn’t care about complaining anymore as he puked for a long time with his hands on his knees.
Meanwhile, Elara didn’t say anything to Beau at all. Instead she just entered the restaurant while holding Merida’s hand.
After Harvey told the staff his reservation number, the staff brought them to their room. After entering the room,
Elara was planning to greet Leonar. However, upon seeing the people at the table, her smile froze.
Niamh and her parents were at the table.
“Niamh!”
When Beau saw her, he skipped his way to her like a moth to a flame. Then, he jumped into her embrace. Elara just stood at the side while Niamh immediately held Beau in her embrace. Niamh even used her hand to support Beau’s head? They were acting so intimately, but Elara didn’t even look at them at all.
When Niamh noticed it, she chuckled silently, thinking that Elara was too afraid to look at them. After all, who could accept their own son being so intimate with another woman?
