Chapter 148
Niamh’s eyes went wide the moment Elara pulled out an tritation.
The usher scanned it, then gave a respectful bow.
“Ms. Jones, please come in.”
Elara tucked the invitation back into her clutch, not sparing Niamh, Harvey, or the others even a glance.
She stepped past them without hesitation, as if they were nothing more than background noise.
Niamh turned to the usher, frowning. “Are you sure you read that right? Was that a real invitation? And why doesn’t hers look like Harvey’s?”
The usher patiently explained, “That lady had a VIP Guest vitation sent directly from the event organizers. Mr. Fisher’s invitation is a corporate pass issued to participating companies.”
Benjamin muttered under his breath, “Sounds like the VIP one is more exclusive.”
Harvey’s expression darkened.
“As far as I know, the Summit has never given a special invitation to an ALI Math Competition winner. If she wanted to attend this event, she’d need to collaborate with a university and enter under an academic invitation.”
But the invitation Elara had just presented was not an academic one.
“Do you think she could’ve forged it?”
The usher shook his head firmly. “All invitations have a built–in security code. That was real.”
Niamh let out a short, amused hum. “Security codes can be faked. Let me call the hotel manager. We’ll find out soon enough.”
As she, Benjamin, and Harvey walked off, the usher watched them go and muttered under his breath, “What a bunch of weirdos.”
Lifting his radio, he sent a message to the event staff.
“VIP guest Ms. Jones has arrived.”
In the private meeting hall on the second floor of Intercontinental Hotel, a staff member entered a grand chamber where the country’s most influential tech moguls were seated.
On either side of the long conference table, mahogany chairs lined the room, each occupied by industry titans.
Among them was the chairman of the ALI Math Competition committee, Christopher, who also served as chief advisor to a major drone corporation.
Beside him sat a renowned figure in computational research, one of the lead organizers for an international conference in artificial intelligence.
But the most striking presence in the room was the man seated at the head of the table–Leonard.
Framed by an intricate folding screen behind him, he looked almost like a painting.
Dressed in a modernized Malorian style–collared suit, subtle golden embroidery traced along the fabric’s fastenings, adding a quiet elegance to his already commanding presence.

His long, slender fingers absentmindedly tapped against the table in a steady rhythm.
The other executives remained silent.
No one dared to interrupt him while he was deep in thought
A staff member approached Christopher, whispering something in his car.
Christopher’s brows lifted slightly before he tuned to the group and said, “Ms. Joh
At that, one of the executives immediately stood, adjusting his jacket in a hurry.
“I’m heading downstairs to greet her.”
Without waiting, he strode toward the exit.
has arrived.”
Several others quickly followed, one of them calling out, “Elara is ours! Skyvision’s Algorithm Center is claiming her!!!
Another businessman scoffed, already moving to catch up.“Fair competition, buddy! I’m her former senior at university that gives me first dibs!”
