Beau swallowed his frustration. He was the precious golden grandson of Fisher Corp, someone cherished by Ethel!
He lifted his gaze toward Elara’s direction, watching closely. Sure enough, she glanced over at them.
Beau’s excitement spiked so his plan was working! Feeling more determined, he ripped open the jerky package for Niamh.

However, Niamh didn’t want to dirty her hands, so she casually said, “Feed me.”
Beau’s face twitched slightly as his patience was wearing thin. Worse, Elara had already looked away.
Still, he reluctantly pulled a piece of jerky from the package and held it up to Niamh’s mouth while his eyes were still fixed on Elara.
“Turn around and look at me!” he shouted in his head.
If he treated Niamh this well, Elara had to feel jealous. It was her choice not to be his mother anymore! Elara would never get to chjoy being personally waited on by him
Rosalie clicked her tongue in amusement. “Beau, you’re actually feeding Niamh? How sweet of you!”
Her tone was exaggerated, making sure everyone heard the sharp edge in her voice.
Niamh crossed her legs lazily, seemingly unbothered. “What’s so surprising? Hasn’t Paisley ever fed you snacks before?”
Rosalie replied, “I’m Paisley’s mother. That’s completely different!”
Niamh curled her lips into a smirk. “How is it different? I’m Beau’s daddy and Harvey’s brother!”
Rosalie snorted a laugh. What nonsense this woman was just spouting whatever
r came to mind!
She had seen through Niamh’s feelings for Harvey years ago, when the girl had turned 18. Dawn, on the other hand, had been naïve enough to believe Niamh saw Harvey as nothing more than a close friend.
Rosalie’s gaze slid over to Harvey. If Beau spoiled Niamh this much, then Harvey must spoil her even more. She licked her lips, feeling rather thrilled at the thought. She would love nothing more than to see Harvey and Niamh tangled up in a mess.
Ethel had grown increasingly disgusted with Niamh, feeling that as Elara’s own sister, she had no business entangling herself with Harvey. It would only tarnish his reputation.
Even though Harvey and Elara were divorced, the Fishers would never accept another Jones daughter into their family. Two sisters sharing a husband–what kind of scandal would that cause?
Rosalie, on the other hand, found the whole situation highly entertaining. If Harvey’s reputation took a hit, she and her father might just get another piece of the Fishers‘ empire.
Beau fed Niamh another piece of jerky as his eyes darted toward Elara Strange–his overly pretentious r wasn’t even looking his way.
Was she too upset to watch him treat Niamh so well? That had to be it! He felt better knowing that it made her uncomfortable, and a smug grin crept across his face.
After a short break, the second game began. It was called the Family Kangaroo Hop. Parents and children had to squeeze into a large sack together, gripping the edges as they hopped toward the finish line.

A teacher approached Harvey and Beau, reminding them with a friendly smile, “Mr. Fisher, Beau, do your best! Otherwise, you won’t have enough points to exchange for feed at lunchtime, so you might end up going hungry.” The moment Niamh saw that it was a female teacher, her expression darkened and it was filled with disdain. She sneered at her. “Mind your own business!”
Gosh, yet another woman shamelessly throwing herself at Harvey!
The teacher flinched at Niamh’s hostility, completely baffled by her aggression. Feeling uneasy, she walked away to join a small group of other teachers.
“That Ms. Niamh is like a rabid dog! She barks and bites at everyone!”
“Shh! Keep your voice down! Didn’t you see how much Beau dotes on her? I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up as his stepmother,” another whispered.
The teacher who had been snapped at let out a sharp laugh. Who in their right mind would marry their own brother‘?”
