Chapter 198
Niamh was stunned. “Why is my dad coming here?”
Leonard’s subordinate replied, “We’re the ones who informed Abel Jones to come to Mistvale Ranch.
“Since Mr. Beau and Mr. Harvey were both disciplined by their fathers, it’s only right that your father takes responsibility for you as well.”
As they spoke, Abel had arrived. Elara was equally surprised by this..
Leonard’s efficiency was terrifying. It had been less than 30 minutes since Xavier was put in danger, and yet Leonard had already issued punishments.
Abel rushed onto the scene just in time to witness Harvey being caned. His eyes landed on the bamboo stick, now stained with fresh blood. A shiver ran through his entire body.
On his way here, Leonard’s subordinates had briefed him that Niamh had pushed Leonard’s son down the slope. The moment Abel heard this, he was so terrified his legs nearly gave out.
One of Leonard’s subordinates stepped forward. Abel was scanning the area, but he couldn’t see Niamh
In a daze, he mumbled, “Is my daughter… still alive?”

The subordinate handed Abel a bamboo stick. “Ms. Niamh was the main perpetrator behind Ms. Elara and Mr. Xavier’s fall down the slope. Mr. Jones, please administer 50 strikes to Ms. Niamh’s palms.”
The words sent a wave of panic through Niamh, who was still lying near the slope. Harvey’s palms had been whipped 30 times, and they were already covered in blood. If she had to endure 50 strikes, wouldn’t her hands be completely destroyed?
“My hands are meant for racing! I have a motorcycle race next week! I can’t afford to have any injuries!”
As one of the sponsors of the International Racing Championship for the Capitol Circuit, Harvey had secured Niamh a spot in the exhibition race.
Abel was well aware that his daughter was nothing more than a troublemaker, constantly mingling with men. Yet somehow, she had managed to achieve something through all her recklessness.
Regardless of her final ranking, as long as she appeared in the exhibition race, she would gain recognition in the elite circles of the Capitol.
Now, Abel felt helpless when faced with Leonard’s subordinate. He didn’t want to completely destroy his daughter’s chances in the championship.
“Can we avoid hitting her palms?” he asked.
The subordinate responded, “Mr. Jones can choose another area.”
Abel turned to Niamh, and he scolded, “You disgraceful bra! Pick where you want to be punished!”
Niamh hesitated while glancing reluctantly over her shoulder. Her pants were rather thick. Weighing her options, she muttered through clenched teeth, “How about… my butt?”
With Leonard in charge, she knew there was no escaping this punishment. Abel quickly stepped forward, yanking Niamh up from the slope. He then brought the bamboo stick down on her backside without hesitation.
With each strike, he cursed, “You disgrace! How dare you put Mr. Xavier in danger? Do you have a death wish?”
Leonard’s subordinate counted each hit, but when he noticed Abel going too easy, he simply repeated the last

number out loud.
Abel quickly realized that he couldn’t afford to go easy on her, Gritting his teeth, he struck harder.
“Ahh! Ack!
“Not so hard! Not so hard!”
Niamh writhed like an octopus on a hot grill, her face burning as the searing pain spread through her body.
A crowd had gathered, and Bridget watched with satisfaction among them. Seeing Niamh publicly whipped felt like long–overdue justice.
Harold watched as Niamh wailed and screamed, his eyes glinting with a hint of amusement.
“This satisfies you, doesn’t it?” Harvey’s voice rang beside Elara’s ear.
She lifted her gaze to meet the man’s expression which was dark as soot.
Niamh and Beau made the mistakes, but Harvey had been punished alongside them. Though resentment simmered in his heart, he didn’t dare reveal it in front of Leonard.
Elara scoffed. “You reap what you sow. There’s no one else to blame.”
Harvey shot back, “Maybe you should reflect on why Niamh targeted you in the first place.”
Elara’s eyes widened as she stared at her former husband. “Harvey, you really do have no shame. You and Niamh are just two bottom–feeders in the same filthy pond. It’s no wonder you get along so well.”
“Why, you!”
When had Elara become so sharp–tongued? She had been gentle and accommodating toward him for seven years as his wife. Had she been acting the entire time?
Elara couldn’t be bothered to waste another word on him. She turned and approached the security guards. “Can I speak to Prof. Fisher for a moment?”
One of the guards reactivated the iPad screen.
Elara looked at Leonard and said, “You don’t understand Niamh. Her skin is thicker than a city wall. Even if she gets beaten half to death, she won’t learn her lesson.”
Leonard asked, “Then how do you suggest we punish her?”
Elara turned her gaze toward Harvey. “I’d like Mr. Fisher’s assistance for this.”
“Harvey, step forward.” Leonard’s voice rang out once more, sending a chill down Harvey’s spine.
His expression remained grim, and he obeyed without hesitation like a machine programmed to follow orders, not daring to resist. Harvey stepped in front of the iPad.
Elara continued, “I want Mr. Fisher to personally record the process of Niamh being punished and send the video to your Capitol Brotherhood group chat.
“And in that video, I’d like Niamh to apologize to both Xavier and me.”
Just then, she looked directly at Niamh. She wasn’t done just yet!
“And if even one word, or one syllable of her apology to me and Xavier sounds insincere, mocking, or remotely off -tone—she will redo the entire video and endure the punishment all over again!”
“Ahhh!”
Niamh screamed in her mind, cursing through her gritted teeth. She could barely make a sound under Abel’s relentless strikes.
What a ruthless bitch! Elara was being absolutely vicious. If that video ended up in the Capitol Brotherhood chat, how would her so–called brothers ever look at her again?
