Chapter 263
Harvey felt
as if he had been struck by a heavy blow.
He knew he shouldn’t have fallen into Theodore’s trap, but the moment Elara spoke up for him, it was as if someone had driven an awl straight into his chest.
The pain exploded inside him, and the blood that seemed to splatter from the wound stained his vision red.
Theodore glanced at Elara, his lips curving upward in silent triumph. Elara knew very well he was deliberately provoking Harvey, but it felt incredible being the one she sided with.
Theodore turned back to Harvey, his gaze openly taunting. He reached out and protectively placed a hand on Elara. “I’m worried he’s going to throw the soap at you.”
Harvey felt the blood rush to his throat. He had never been outmaneuvered like this, not even in the cutthroat business world. And now, with no security cameras to prove his innocence here in a men’s restroom, he had no
way
to defend himself in front of Elara.
Elara’s voice was steady as she said, “Harvey, I know your temper. You’d rather die than apologize to Theodore. So, if you won’t say sorry, then pay for his suit.
“Otherwise, we can go to the police station. Damaging someone else’s property that’s over five thousand dollars counts as a serious offense. If you don’t mind frequenting the police station, I won’t stop you.”
Theodore leaned down slightly, his lips hovering just a few inches from Elara’s ear. Yet he spoke just loudly enough for Harvey to hear, “Elara, you’re so good to me.”
Harvey clenched his fists, and his knuckles turned a ghostly white beneath the skin.
To make matters worse, several men had tried to enter the restroom, only to find Elara inside. Feeling awkward, they hesitated at the doorway before backing out again.
Then, murmurs began to spread outside. “I think I just saw Mr. Fisher.”
This restaurant was close to Fisher Corp’s headquarters, so it was no surprise that many employees dined here.
With no access to the restroom, some men resorted to lighting cigarettes and lingering outside.

“I just heard the whole thing. Apparently, Mr. Snapp is with Mr. Fisher’s ex–wife now. Mr. Fisher lost his temper and threw hand soap at Mr. Snapp, then he even shoved him.”
Harvey felt like he was about to explode when he heard the conversation. Now, he couldn’t clear his name no matter what he did!
Someone outside sighed, “Raging with jealousy over a woman, huh? But honestly, with how exceptional Ms. Jones is, having two men fight over her seems pretty norma
Another person lowered their voice and whispered, “I just heard… Mr. Snapp’s is… pinker than Mr. Fisher’s…” Unfortunately, the restroom walls weren’t soundproof. Every word drifted straight into Harvey’s ears.
He wanted to storm out and fire those gossiping employees on the spot. Just as he lifted his foot to leave, Elara blocked his way.
“Either apologize or pay for Theodore’s suit!”
Harvey let out a sharp laugh, his anger boiling over. He then said while nodding, “Fine. I’ll gift Mr. Snapp something even pricier.
Chapter 263
So, the great Theodore Snapp wanted to take advantage of ham? Harvey only wished for Theodore to become a laughingstock!
He pulled out his phone and called Cyrus, instructing him to buy an Armani suit off the rack and deliver it to the men’s restroom at Macrina Restaurant as quickly as possible.
At first, when Cyrus took the call, he assumed Harvey had accidentally dirtied his own clothes. But after confirming the size and realizing it wasn’t Harvey’s, he didn’t dare ask any questions
He immediately contacted the Armani store and arranged for the purchase,
Ten minutes later, Cyrus sprinted into the restaurant’s men’s restroom, carrying the sult
The moment he spotted Elara and Theodore, he hesitated, briefly wondering if he had walked into the wrong place. But when he saw Harvey, he knew he was in the right spot.
Harvey’s expression was grim. The tension between the three is thick enough to cut with a knife.
Sensing the delicate situation, Cyrus tread carefully. “Mr. Fisher, I’ve brought the suit.”
“I’ll take it.” Elara stepped forward and took it from him.
Harvey’s face remained cold as he ordered Cyrus, “You can leave now.”
Cyrus immediately shut his mouth, instinctively holding his breath as he tried to make himself as invisible as possible. He quickly retreated from the scene without wasting another second.
The moment he stepped out of the restroom, he noticed several Fisher Corp employees craning their necks, eagerly peering in the direction of the restroom. Their faces were full of curiosity. Clearly, they were hoping to catch some juicy gossip.
Cyrus walked up to them and asked, “Do you know what’s going on in there with Mr. Fisher?”
“The battle is intense!” one employee sighed dramatically
“Mr. Fisher and Mr. Snapp got into a full–blown fight!”
The more Cyrus listened, the more alarmed he became. He immediately grabbed one of the employees.
“Tell me everything! What exactly happened?”
The employee leaned in so closely that their heads almost touched. “You can’t go around spreading this, but listen carefully…”
After hearing the full account, Cyrus opened a shopping app on his phone. He searched for a certain “pink- enhancing” product, and hit purchase.
Harvey would need this one day, so it was better to be prepared. That was the level of professionalism expected from Harvey’s secretary!
Theodore reached to undo the buttons of his suit jacket, but his fingers kept slipping against the slick layer of hand soap.
Seeing his struggle, Elara stepped forward. “Let me help you.”
She first hung the new suit on the hook, then reached to unbutton his jacket.
Harvey had originally intended to let Theodore wear the sulf just so he could mock him afterward. That was the

only reason he had stayed. He was waiting for Theodore to put on the outfit he had paid for.
But instead, he was forced to watch this!
Elara helped Theodore remove his jacket, then moved to loosen the tie around his neck.
Theodore tilted his head slightly. His gaze was fixed on Elara’s face, and his expression burned with intensity. Harvey’s vision darkened with a surge of red–hot fury.
That simple motion–Elara untying a man’s tie–was something she had done for him countless times before. And now, Harvey suddenly realized that she would never do it for him again.
A wave of something cold and bitter settled in his chest, a heaviness he didn’t even fully recognize. Just then, Theodore turned, smirking at him with an obvious, taunting glint in his eyes.
Harvey’s patience snapped the moment he saw Elara start unbuttoning Theodore’s dress shirt. “Elara Jones! Don’t you think you’re crossing the line?”
His laugh was sharp and biting. “Are you really fawning over Theodore right in front of me?”
To him, her actions felt unbearably cheap.
