Niamh clicked on Elara’s Instagram profile, only to find the the video Elara had previously posted in her stories was gone. She looked up, her eyes dark and venomous as they locked onto Elara.
Did Elara really think deleting the video would erase the fact that she had provoked her? Niamh had already saved the video of Elara and Harvey!
Seeing the faint smile curling at the corner of Elara’s lips, Niamh became even more convinced that Elara had posted that story specifically for her to see.
Elara was just furious that Harvey had signed a settlement agreement, leaving Beau still hospitalized while Niamh didn’t have to pay a single cent in compensation.
That’s why, after refollowing Niamh, Elara had deliberately posted a story visible only to her, as a warning. Elara probably thought Niamh still had feelings for Harvey and would never spread the video, fearing it would damage Harvey’s reputation.
But Niamh was determined to show Elara that she had plenty of ways to fight back!
After downloading the video, Niamh had replaced Harvey’s face with another man’s. Today, she would make Elara understand what it meant to lift a stone only to drop it on her own foot!
“Elara! I warned you a long time ago that crossing me is a terrible idea! Don’t think that just because you’ve hooked up with Mr. Snapp and you’re still tangled with Harvey, you can strut around like you own the place!”
As soon as Niamh finished her warning, the sound system in the banquet hall crackled to life. Everyone instinctively turned toward the stage, where Abel had stepped up to the podium.
He adjusted the microphone and began, “T’d like to say a few words…”
Abel spoke passionately for over ten minutes, then invited Daphne and his two daughters to join him on stage. The four of them, each harboring their own thoughts, forced themselves to play the part of a loving family in front of the crowd, masking their mutual disdain.
When Abel finally finished his speech, Niamh stepped forward and took the microphone. “As my father’s daughter, I’d like to share a few heartfelt words with everyone here!”
Niamh’s impromptu speech was completely off–script
Abel looked at Niamh with confusion, while a faint smile flickered in Elara’s eyes.
“I believe that among us, there is someone who is utterly unworthy of their position! Though she is family, her private life is a mess, and she has no right to sit in the highest position at Joss Tech!
“The reason I’m exposing this today is that I fear if I don’t, and this comes to light later, it will bring catastrophic consequences to the Jones family and the entire Jones Group!”
Abel was stunned. He didn’t fully understand what Niamh was saying, but a sense of foreboding crept over him.
“Niamh, what are you doing?
Niamh turned to her father, her expression righteous and determined.
“Dad, I’m doing this for our family and for Jones Group! I’ve mastered the courage to stand up here today. Though what I’m about to reveal will deal a heavy blow to the Jones family, we’ve reached a point where we must make a painful but necessary sacrifice!
“Today, we must cut out and discard this malignant tumor within Jones Group!”

Niamh’s words were inflammatory and dramatic.
Elara felt her heart stir as she stood on the stage, her gaze meeting Theodore’s from across the room. The man playfully winked at her, as if sending her a flirtatious signal
A jolt of electricity seemed to shoot through Elara’s chest, leaving her momentarily breathless.
Just as Elara was lost in that brief moment, Niamh raised her hand and pointed to the large screen behind her.
“Everyone, please direct your attention to the screen!”
The screen lit up, and a shocking scene unfolded before everyone’s eyes.
