Chapter 306
Niamh’s voice reached Harvey’s ears
Bound and restrained, his cold, piercing eyes were locked onto the television screen. He knew Niamh was referring to Elara.
What kind of dirt had she dug up on her?
The only truly outrageous thing Elara had done–something that could bring catastrophic consequences to the Jones family was imprisoning him here. But how could Niamh possibly know about that?
Harvey felt a nerve in his brain throbbing violently.
No! Niamh couldn’t expose the fact that he was being held captive!
In the next second, Harvey’s pupils dilated in shock. The lange screen lit up, displaying explicit footage.
It was Abel’s face which turned dark, almost purple with rate.
“Ahhh!” Daphne instinctively raised her hands but forgot to cover her mouth, letting out a piercing scream. The other members of the Jones family, as well as the shareholders, gasped in unison. Everyone in the room looked horrified, and some even wore expressions of fear.
Niamh stood on the stage, taking in everyone’s reactions with satisfaction.
She continued addressing the guests below, “Everyone, do you see now? Is someone this fit to lead Joss Tech? “With such a chaotic private life, can you really trust this person to take the reins of the company?”
Niamh couldn’t hide the malicious glee in her eyes. This was her gift to Elara after being acquitted. After all, it was Elara’s fault for daring to provoke her.
She had replaced Harvey’s face with another man’s, ensuring that everyone now knew Elara was not only dating Theodore but also entangled with someone else in such a scandalous way.
Niamh glanced at Theodore, eager to see what kind of expression he would make. Meanwhile, standing in the front row below the stage, Theodore raised his glass and toasted her.
“Ms. Niamh, sacrificing family for justice–what admirable courage!”
Niamh was momentarily stunned. Why was Theodore so calm? He was even thanking her in front of everyone.
She nearly laughed out loud. So, Theodore really was just toying with Elara. Maybe he had already discovered how promiscuous she was.
Niamh lifted her chin triumphantly, about to turn and see Elara’s reaction, when Abel suddenly stepped forward. “You disgraceful brat!”
Abel’s face was flushed with rage. He raised his hand and slapped Niamh across the face.
The force of the blow sent Niamh stumbling to the ground. She cried out in pain while clutching her swollen cheek
The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth, and she felt her teeth loosen. A long, ringing noise filled her ears.
With blood in her mouth, Niamh shouted, “Dad! I knew you’d be angry that I exposed this, but I did it for the sake of the Jones Group!”

“You’ve lost your mind!” Abel roared, spittle flying.
“Nini! How could you do this? You’ve gone too far!”

Daphne was already in tears. She lunged at Niamh, clawing at her hair and clothes.

Before she could finish, Daphne slapped Niamh on the other side of her face.
One slap wasn’t enough. Daphne used all her strength, raining down several more slaps on Niamh in quick
succession
“You’ve exposed Abel’s affairs! You’re trying to destroy our family!”
At this, Daphne clutched her chest and turned to Abel, her eyes brimming with tears. “Abel… How could you betray me? I hate you!”
Daphne’s body stiffened, her eyes closed, and she collapsed to the ground. As she fell, she instinctively cushioned her head with her arm, making her fainting position slightly more comfortable.
“Niamh Jones, I’ve truly wasted my time raising you!”
Seeing Daphne faint, Abel kicked Niamh squarely in the chest. The force of the kick sent Niamh flying backward, rolling twice before coming to a stop.
“Ugh!”
Blood surged in her throat as she struggled to get up. When she lifted her head, her eyes landed on the video still playing on the large screen.
Niamh froze in shock.
The screen now displayed explicit footage of Abel and his secretary, Anya Vaughn, in a car. Their faces were clearly visible.
Niamh was completely baffled. “How did this happen?”
Had the video she gave to the employee finished playing, and now Abel’s video had started?
She turned her head, scanning the crowd for the employee she had bribed. After searching frantically, her finally landed on Elara.

While chaos erupted on stage, Elara stood to the side, completely unfazed. She raised her glass slightly, making a toast in Niamh’s direction.
With a silent smile, Elara mouthed the words, “Well done.”
A loud bang seemed to explode in Niamh’s head, sending a shiver down her spine and making her hair stand on
end.
It finally hit her. She had been completely played by Elara!
