Chapter 313
A housewife with such ambition–it was unexpected.
By allying with Theodore and publicly announcing their relationship, Elara aimed to use Theodore’s enterprises. to completely swallow up Jones Group.
Now, as acting CEO, Elara would undoubtedly accelerate the acquisition process for Joss Tech. It wouldn’t be long before she held the official signing ceremony for the acquisition.
Thinking this, Priscilla curled her lips into a smile. No prey she set her sights on had ever escaped her grasp.
She hadn’t initially paid much attention to the minor matter of acquiring Joss Tech, but then she encountered Elara, this unorthodox housewife.
Since Elara insisted on pushing forward with the acquisition deal with Snapp Group, Priscilla wouldn’t hold back! Priscilla chuckled softly and picked up her phone to call Elara.
Hearing Elara’s voice on the line, Priscilla spoke, “Elara, I’ve decided to suspend our collaboration on the new tech project.”
Elara’s voice came through, “Ms. Price, what do you mean?
“I’m kicking you out.” Priscilla’s tone was laced with playful mockery.
Elara responded, “Ms. Price, I handed over my proprietary algorithm to you, and now you’re kicking me out?”
“That’s right,” Priscilla said lightly. “Elara, thank you for providing my team with new ideas. But I’ve realized my team can complete the project without you, so you’ve become unnecessary!”
Elara laughed. “Ms. Price, just say it directly. What do you want from me by suddenly changing your mind?”
Priscilla told her, “If you want to continue working with me, sell Joss Tech to me. You now hold the decision- making power over Joss Tech.”
Elara’s voice remained calm and even. “How much are you willing to pay for Joss Tech, Ms. Price?”
Priscilla’s crimson lips curled. “I’ve already transferred 20 million dollars to you.”
Elara laughed, experiencing firsthand the ruthless tactics of Priscilla, the so–called business mogul.
One might wonder why Priscilla was so invincible in the business world. It was simply because she would use any underhanded, unconventional method to achieve her goals
She wanted to buy Joss Tech for the lowest possible price. It wasn’t a pipe dream–slie knew exactly how to lure people into her trap.
“I won’t just hand Joss Tech over to you for free,” Elara told her over the phone.
Priscilla let out a regretful sigh. “Then you’ll just have to watch as I use your algorithm to make a fortune on the new project!”
From the very beginning, Priscilla had planned to get the most out of every deal. Whenever she collaborated with anyone, she aimed for a “win–win” outcome..
But in her dictionary, a “win–win” didn’t mean each partyinning once. It meant she’d be the winning party twice.
Those she ruthlessly exploited had no choice but to swallow their grievances and accept her terms, letting Priscilla feast while they settled for the scraps that fell through her fingers.

“Ms. Price, if you insist on burning bridges like this, then pray you won’t come crawling back to me for collaboration later. When you do, the price will be much higher. No one goes easy on someone who’s proven themselves untrustworthy.”
Elara’s words made Priscilla laugh. Why on earth would she ever beg Elara for a collaboration?
Elara, the naive housewife, must have been driven mad by her.
“Ms. Jones, you’re so foolish.”
Priscilla hung up the phone. She had already obtained Elara’s new algorithm. All she needed to do was put it into
action.
From the start, she had never intended to share half the profits of the new project with Elara. No one could take even half a slice of the cake from her. She had only ever given her collaborators crumbs.
There was no way she would ever beg Elara Jones for anything.
Priscilla burst into laughter. The muscular man filing her nails looked up at her, and Priscilla pressed her foot against his abdomen.
“Some clueless housewife just told me a joke. I’ll probably wake up laughing in my sleep.”
After informing Elara she was out of the project, Priscilla was in high spirits. She crooked a finger at the muscular man, signaling him closer.
Elara had just hung up the phone when another call came through.
A bodyguard’s urgent voice sounded on the line. “Ms. Jones, Harvey, he…”
