Chapter 320
Chapter 320
Niamh pouted and reluctantly took off the high heels, tossing them onto the floor.
“See? I took them off!”
Harvey lowered his long, thick lashes, his gaze fixed on the red–soled high heels on the ground.
“Throw them in the trash!”
Niamh was shocked. “But I just bought these heels!”
The man’s dark eyes gleamed like those of a dangerous beast as he warned Niamh, “From now on, no one is allowed to wear this type of high heel in front of me!”
“You don’t like these heels?” Niamh muttered. “Is it because Elara wore them?”
In her mind, Niamh was practically screaming. How had she stepped right into Harvey’s minefield?
She must have been too engrossed in that video of Harvey, mistakenly thinking he enjoyed being stepped on by Elara in high heels!
But on second thought, how could Harvey possibly like that plain Jane, Elara?
When Elara stepped on him, he must have felt disgusted and repulsed!
Niamh softened her tone. “If you make me throw these heels away, what am I supposed to wear back? Harvey! You’re not going to make your dad go barefoot, are you?”
Harvey turned to someone nearby. “Go find her a pair of slippers.”
Niamh protested loudly, “You’re giving me slippers? You owe me a new pair of heels!”
The other wealthy heirs teased her, laughing. “Those big feet of yours are only fit for flip–flops! Hahaha! Go find her some flip–flops!”
“Honestly, seeing Niamh in high heels just makes me feel grossed out. Hahaha!”
Niamh’s face flushed with embarrassment. She lunged at Harvey. “Come on! Carry your best buddy to buy some shoes!”
Harvey shoved her away, and Niamh fell back onto the sofa, sprawling awkwardly. As she lay on the couch, she stared at Harvey in shock.
“Harvey, what’s wrong with you?” Niamh met the man’s icy gaze and froze in place.
The way Harvey looked at her sent chills down her spine. He replied, “When I signed the settlement agreement, I don’t think I made myself clear.”
He spoke each word slowly, warning Niamh, “From now on, don’t let me see you again!”
Niamh sat on the sofa, her blood freezing in an instant.
“Har… Harvey…” Her voice trembled, unable to form a complete sentence.
Seeing Harvey’s attitude toward Niamh, the young heirs in the room also cooled their gazes toward her.
“Here you go, these are disposable slippers from the club.
A waiter came in with the slippers, and one of the heirs pointed at Niamh “Give them to her.”

The waiter handed the slippers to Niamh, but she slapped them out of his hands.
“Harvey! How can you make me wear disposable slippers? If Dawn were here, she’d never let you treat me like this!”
Niamh protested indignantly, but Harvey had already lost patience with her.
“Suit yourself!”
As he turned to leave, he threw one last remark at her, “And stop using Dawn to guilt–trip me!
“Beau is still in the hospital. Even if Dawn were alive, I wouldn’t forgive you for what you did to him!”
Niamh bit her lower lip, watching helplessly as Harvey walked away.
Harvey got into his car and told the driver, “Take me to The Promenade.”
He soon entered a luxurious boutique 15 minutes later, surrounded by several sales associates.
“Sir, what are you looking for today?”
Harvey stood in front of the display case, his eyes fixed on the pair of high heels Elara had worn. “Wrap those up
for me.”
The sales associate asked, “What size would you like, sir?”
Harvey froze. He didn’t know Elara’s shoe size.
