Chapter 324
Theodore smirked, and the doctor on the phone asked him, “Should we report this to the police?”
“Do you want the whole world to know I had urological surgery?”
The doctor on the other end let out a mischievous laugh. “Your medical records were stolen by a hacker. It won’t be long before the elites of the Capitol know about Mr. Theodore Snapp’s… performance issues!”
The man’s long, clean fingers tapped lightly on the steering wheel. He glanced at the rearview mirror, where the Maybach was reflected.
“Proceed with today’s follow–up as scheduled.”
The voice on the phone sounded concerned. “Aren’t you worried…”
Theodore stepped on the gas and turned the car around. “This is called ‘luring the snake out of its hole.”
Watching Theodore drive away, Harvey got out of his car.
The man was dressed in an expensive black suit. His face was cold and his deep eyes were like a dark pool on a winter night, unfathomable and mysterious.
Harvey pressed the elevator button. The doors opened, and he stepped inside.
At the same time, several plainclothes bodyguards stationed in the parking lot to ensure Elara’s safety emerged. To them, Harvey was the number one threat.
One of the bodyguards immediately called Finnegan. “Mr. Lloyd, Harvey has entered the Jones Group building.”
In the CEO’s office, sunlight streamed through the windows as Elara sat at her desk, head bowed as she worked through documents.
She had tied her dark hair into a loose ponytail that draped over her shoulder, and there were a few stray strands clinging to her cheeks. Her white shirt hung elegantly with the collar slightly open, revealing her slender neck and delicate collarbone.
Then, her newly promoted executive secretary, Cassie Klein, tapped on the office door.
She walked in and reported, “Ms. Elara, Ms. Niamh is here to see you.”
Elara didn’t bother to look up. “Tell her I’m busy. If she causes a scene, call the police. Don’t go easy on her, understand?”
During Elara’s induction banquet, Joss Tech employees had witnessed Niamh being beaten to a pulp by Abel. Since Abel no longer treated Niamh as his daughter, there was no reason for them to treat her as the Jones family heiress.
If they showed Niamh respect or special treatment, it would only upset Elara. After all, the one holding the reins of the company now was Elara!
Cassie nodded respectfully. “Understood.”
As she left, she glanced at Elara a few more times. Over the years, Joss Tech had become increasingly chaotic. Abel’s inappropriate behavior with Anya in the CEO’s office was no secret.
With the leadership corrupt, the lower ranks had followed gult, and employees had long suffered under the weight of nepotism.

Since Elara took over, she had cleared out many of the nepotistic hires. Now, even the biggest internal problem- her own father–had been replaced by her.
As the newly promoted secretary, who had jumped three levels in rank, Cassie looked at Elara with growing respect.
She walked out to the waiting area, where Niamh sat slouched in a chair. She was wearing a black leather jacket over a dark red crop top with a skull design.
Her legs, clad in fishnet stockings, stretched out straight, adorned with edgy leather straps. On her feet were thick -soled black combat boots.
Her wrists were decorated with a silver–and–black beaded bracelet, and her ears sported several silver skull earrings.
Niamh stared blankly, blowing pink bubbles with her gum to pass the time. When she saw Cassie, she popped the bubble and jumped up from the couch.
With her hands stuffed into the pockets of her black denim shorts, Niamh walked past Cassie toward the CEO’s office.
However, Cassie quickly stepped to the side, blocking her path. “Ms. Niamh, Ms. Elara is busy. She doesn’t have time to see you.‘
As Niamh chewed her gum, a smirk tugged at the corner of her mouth. She simply laughed, completely disregarding Cassie.
“Be a good dog and don’t block the way!” Niamh snorted coldly and shoved the secretary hard.
Cassie slammed into the wall, wincing in pain but still managing to shout, “Stop her!” Several security guards rushed forward, forming a solid wall that blocked Niamh’s path. Cassie then barked, “No one is allowed into the CEO’s office without the VP’s permission!”
