Chapter 329
Theodore ignored Harvey, unsurprised by his presence. Instead, his gaze shifted over Harvey’s shoulder, landing on Elara.
Theodore’s expression froze. His moon seemed to rush toward him, her eyes filled with concern for him.
Elara walked up to Theodore and grabbed his wrist. The man looked down, surprised by Elara’s grip, and his long lashes were trembling slightly.
Elara turned to Theodore and said, “I know you came to see the urologist.”
Theodore looked at her, his dark eyes swirling with emotion. Just as he was about to speak, Elara stepped in front of him like a mother hen protecting her chick.
“Harvey Fisher, just stay out of our business!”
Both men’s expressions shifted at the same time. Theodore’s lips curved into a smile, while Harvey’s face darkened to the extreme.
Harvey thought he could handle this calmly, but when Elara referred to their matter as “ours“, and he, the ex- husband, was reduced to a complete stranger, his breathing grew labored.

The Elara who had once adored him, who had meticulously documented every detail of his life, would she now treat Theodore the same way she had treated him?

Elara pressed her lips together, her gaze toward Harvey filled with wariness. Harvey was taking Theodore’s urology visit far too seriously. He was clearly trying to sabotage Theodore’s acquisition of Joss Tech.
And she would never let him succeed!
Finnegan stepped forward, his brow furrowed as he asked Theodore, “What exactly are you doing at the hospital?”
“Finn!” Elara started to speak, but Finnegan’s expression was stern and unyielding,
“I know you’re helping Theodore lie. I want to hear his explanation directly!”
Finnegan looked at Theodore, his eyes filled with warning. Did you think about how much this would affect Elara if word got out that you’re seeing a urologist right now?”
Theodore’s face remained calm. There was even a faint smile playing on his lips. “It word gets out about my urology visit, I’ll sue the person spreading it until they’re bankrupt.‘

At this, he turned to Harvey. “Bribing hackers to break into the hospital’s system, stealing my medical records, and then publicly spreading it at Joss Tech–Harvey, you really are like a rat in the gutter right now.”
His words drew a fearless laugh from Harvey. “Even if it costs me dearly, I’ll make sure everyone knows you’re impotent!”
Only by spreading the word far and wide could he ensure Elara wouldn’t stay with Theodore. Harvey had already made up his mind.
“That’s enough!” Elara snapped.
Harvey froze. It was the first time he had seen Elara so aggressive, like a lioness protecting Theodore.
Theodore reached out and took Elara’s arm, his lips curling into a bold, unrestrained smile. “Then I’ll also tell everyone that I’m not impotent. I just had a bead implanted last week and have been in recovery these past few days.”
When Theodore began speaking, Harvey wanted to laugh. But as the words sank in, his laughter died in his throat.
