Chapter 330
Was Theodore speaking human language? Did he mean what they thought he meant?
“What the hell do you mean?” Finnegan asked, genuinely confused.
Seeing Finnegan’s serious expression, Theodore handed over the medical records he had been holding
“Finny, your brother–in–law is in perfect health.”
Finnegan immediately opened Theodore’s medical records and read through the details of his surgery. Some of the medical terms were hard to understand. He looked up at Theodore, then back down at the records in his hands.
“Why did you implant an agate bead into your body?” Finnegan asked.
Harvey quickly reached out to grab Theodore’s medical records with a forceful grip. Finnegan then let
After reading Theodore’s records, Harvey’s face turned darker than ink. His fingers trembled from the force of his grip, and veins were bulging on the back of his hand.
The few pages of medical records were crumpled under his grasp. His eyes burned red as he glared at Theodore, looking like a vengeful ghost consumed by resentment.
“Why would you implant a bead? Are you insane?” Harvey practically shouted.
Of course, he knew why Theodore had implanted the bead. And because he knew, he couldn’t contain his anger.
“Of course, it’s to give Elara a better experience!” Theodore’s tone was utterly serious, and his expression seemed solemn and righteous.
Finnegan was stunned by his earnest demeanor. So, this was something that benefited Elara. His anger toward Theodore instantly dissipated.
He’d support anything that was good for Elara!
Meanwhile, Elara’s face flushed bright red. Her voice was soft and trembling as she asked, “Wh…Which bead?”
Theodore’s gaze was like a golden, shimmering lake, deep enough to drown in.
“The one you picked out at my house last time, when you were stringing agate beads for a bracelet. The one that was left over.”
Elara met his gaze and instinctively tucked her other hand behind her back.
When she visited Tobias a while back, she happened to notice a box of agate beads sitting on the desk in his study. Agate beads weren’t particularly valuable, and it was Elara herself who had suggested stringing them into a bracelet.
Though they were in a contractual relationship, she was aware of Theodore’s feelings for her. To avoid him showering her with expensive gifts under the guise of being her boyfriend, she decided to take the initiative. She thought it would be better to ask Theodore for a simple agate bead bracelet as a gift to herself.
From the box of agate beads, Elara carefully selected about a dozen to string into a bracelet, leaving behind a single crimson bead with swirling white veins.
The bead resembled a plump cherry. Its rich, vibrant color was streaked with delicate white patterns, like wisps of clouds drifting through a deep red sky. Though Elara liked the bead, it didn’t quite match the rest of her bracelet.

were two similar ones, they’d make nice earrings. But this size feels a bit too bulky for a pendant,” she
Theodore then took the bead from her hand. “Let me have this one.”
“It’s yours to begin with anyway,” Elara replied softly.
Theodore’s gaze was openly tender and affectionate as he said, “But this one was handpicked by you.”
His sharp eyes held a hint of mischief. Without a word, just a look, he could make her heart skip a beat.
At this moment, Elara was wearing the agate bracelet on her wrist. She had originally planned to reveal it when Theodore tried to give her an expensive gift, to show him she had already received something from him.
But now, it felt like she had shot herself in the foot.
She hadn’t even seen that part of Theodore, yet she knew exactly what color the bead embedded there was and the pattern it bore–because she had personally chosen it!
Her mind uncontrollably conjured up an image of Theodore’s manhood adorned with that bead.
