Chapter 331
Elara’s entire face flushed crimson. She bit down hard on her lower lip to keep herself from making a sound, but inside, she was screaming like a startled groundhog
Theodore narrowed his sharp, fox–like eyes. There was a smirk playing on his lips as he watched Harvey’s dark complexion turn even darker, with veins bulging on his forehead.
“Harvey, why aren’t you laughing? Is it just not in your nature to smile?”
Elara wondered if her dizziness was playing tricks on her, because in her blurred vision, Harvey seemed to be trembling uncontrollably. Her ex–husband looked as though he had just been hit by a tidal wave of shock.
Finnegan, on the other hand, remained calm. Having little experience in such matters, he had never even heard of something like this. He held Theodore’s medical records in one hand and his phone in the other, searching for ” the purpose of embedding beads“.

So, it was embedded there! Who knew such a thing was possible?
Theodore’s… assets were already far above average, yet here he was, going above and beyond to excel even further!
After finishing his search, Finnegan looked at Theodore with newfound respect. This kind of dedication to self- improvement was truly something to admire!
Just then, Finnegan heard Harvey curse, “You’re so lewd!”
Harvey sneered at Theodore’s behavior. “I never thought the heir of Snapp Group would stoop so low, acting like some gigolo who needs to embed a bead to please a woman!”
Despite Harvey’s insults, Theodore’s smile only grew wider
“Are you insulting me because you’re jealous? You don’t even have the right to try to make Elara happy anymore
Harvey’s heart skipped a beat, and he felt as though a nuclear bomb had detonated inside him. The shockwave threatened to obliterate his very soul!
To him, Theodore’s grin was the epitome of smugness.
Harvey let out a disdainful snort, “If I hadn’t divorced her, you’d never have had a chance!”

Theodore winked at him, his smile reaching peak mischief as he said, “Well, it’s finally my turn now. Harvey, 1 owe you my thanks!”
Harvey felt as though he had been plunged into an icy abyss. Everything was his own fault!
He was the one who had neglected Elara, and he was the one who had drained all the affection she once held for him. Harvey realized more clearly than anyone else that he alone had pushed–Elara away.
Finnegan, still somewhat bewildered, asked, “You went to the urologist just to get that bead embedded?”
“Of course, I’d only trust someone I’m comfortable with for a procedure like this. Today’s just a follow–up to check on the recovery. Everything’s almost back to normal now!” As he spoke, Theodore straightened his posture with pride.
Finnegan frowned and muttered, “Didn’t it ever occur to you that after all this trouble, it might not even get used….
After all, Theodore and Elara were only in a contractual relationship. Once the signing ceremony was over, Elara would break up with him.

Theodore shrugged it off. “Even if it doesn’t get used, I want to be ready for Elara at any time! That’s my duty as her boyfriend. If she ever breaks up with me, I can just have it removed later.”
As he said this, the corners of Theodore’s eyes turned red.
Elara stared at him, unable to speak. It felt as though boiling water was churning inside her, and the scalding steam was filling her brain and blurring her vision.
Finnegan’s heart sank. Suddenly, everything clicked, and his gaze toward Theodore turned icy. He understood now -Theodore’s decision to embed the bead was a double–edged strategy!
On the surface, he claimed it was to give Elara an unparalleled experience, but in reality, his words were designed to stir her curiosity. From now on, Elara wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about that bead.
To spare Theodore from further “suffering“, she might even soften her heart and decide not to break up with him after all!
Finnegan immediately warned, “Elara, don’t you dare go soft on him!”
Of course, what Finnegan realized, Elara had already figured out as well. Theodore’s plan was a blatant, open scheme.
The bead was something she had personally chosen, and now she couldn’t help but wonder what it would look like embedded in that place.
What if… What if one day she said to Theodore, “Let me see the bead.”
Just imagining the scene made her face burn!
“Theodore, let’s talk privately,” Elara said, quickly regaining her composure.
Theodore gestured for her to lead the way. Elara then followed him toward where his car was parked.
