Chapter 336
Priscilla propped herself up and sat upright. The muscularan lying beside her handed her a robe, which she draped over her shoulders.
The man holding the phone kept it pressed to her ear. Her caramel–colored hair cascaded over her shoulders. Her striking beauty radiated an effortless charm even without makeup.
“Impossible! Wasn’t her framework supposed to be the optimal solution based on our initial calculations?”
“Elara’s work… It’s too advanced. With eight thousand GPUs running simultaneously, we don’t even know which stage to adjust. The junk data we’ve generated has already maxed out the memory.
“Figuring out which parts to clear to keep the framework running will require a massive amount of manpower and resources to sift through.”
Priscilla exhaled impatiently. “Speak plainly!”
The voice on the phone continued, “We can’t handle the framework Elara provided. If we activate the fail–safe mechanism by 10:00 am and switch to the backup framework, we’ll lose an estimated 100 million dollars.
“If we continued with Elara’s framework without the real–time guidance, the loss would start at 500 million dollars. Either way, this means we won’t be able to deliver our project to the Department of Energy next month.”
Priscilla took a deep breath, her displeasure evident on her face. She had already pushed Elara out of the picture- there was no way she could bring her back to oversee the model’s operations now.
“Get the experts from Ohm Technologies to take a look. They should be able to debug the framework Elara provided,” Priscilla said.
The person on the phone hesitated but finally replied, “Understood.”
Priscilla pushed the man’s hand away, no longer in the mood for his assistance. The early morning call from her subordinate had ruined her mood.
“Ms. Price, if you insist on burning bridges like this, then pray you won’t come crawling back to me for collaboration later.”
Elara’s words echoed in her mind.
Priscilla let out a disdainful laugh. This wasn’t the first time she had used such tactics to achieve her goals, monopolizing the results of a project all by herself.
Because this approach had always worked flawlessly, she had never truly needed to beg anyone for help in all these years. Her team had only made a small mistake. A loss of 100 million dollars was something she could easily handle.
Priscilla tightened the collar of her robe and got out of bed. Elara might have some brains, but not enough. The world would keep turning without her.
Thinking this, Priscilla sneered, “A housewife trapped in the kitchen for seven years always thinks she’s indispensable.”
The world wasn’t short of talented people. She refused to believe the experts at Ohm Technologies couldn’t master the framework Elara had provided.
In the kindergarten auditorium, Elara sat with other parents, watching the class 1B children rehearse their

performance. Rosalie sat nearby, covering her mouth as she whispered and giggled with other parents from the start of the performance.
When Merida appeared on stage, Rosalie’s shoulders shook violently as she struggled to suppress the laughter bubbling up in her throat.
Merida stood half a head taller than the other children. Her strong, sturdy frame and limbs resembled thick
sausages.
Her dance moves were more powerful than the others, and the little whirlwinds she created with her turns occasionally disrupted the girls beside her.
In their pure white ballet costumes, Merida’s figure stood in stark contrast to the other children. Meanwhile, Paisley, the lead dancer, had long, slender limbs. She looked as thin as a sheet of paper from the side.
Merida stepped forward and effortlessly lifted Paisley into the air. Paisley arched her back, her body taut like a fully drawn bow. She split her legs mid–air, mimicking a flying motion as her arms fluttered like the wings of a

Shirley’s mother, who was sitting next to Elara, leaned over and whispered, “Originally, a boy was supposed to do the lifting, but none of the boys in the class could lift Paisley so easily.”
Elara replied calmly, “Boys do tend to develop a bit slower than girls at this age.”
