Chapter 347
Priscilla’s eyes were ice–cold. Back then, she had paid Elara 20 million dollars to kick her out of the game. Now she wanted her back, but Elara was asking for two billion dollars right off the bat.
And she knew damn well that Elara wanted more than just two billion dollars.
Priscilla let out a low chuckle. She had been in the business long enough to deal with people trying to squeeze her dry. Yet, standing in front of Elara, she remained completely in control.
“You have no idea how the market works, Ms. Jones,” Priscilla said smoothly. “I can offer you 70% of the profits, but as for funding–well, that has to go through the board for approval.”
Elara didn’t even hesitate when she retorted. “Unless you hand over the entire project to me, I’m not interested.”
Priscilla let out a sharp scoff as she said, “You’re dreaming. No one had ever dared to snatch a major deal straight from her hands.
But Elara remained as composed as ever, her voice soft, almost amused. “Ms. Price, I’m asking for a big cut because I don’t trust you. The way you pushed me out before left a lasting impression.
“So, unless you’re willing to serve me this deal on a silver platter and give me 100% of the profits, I’m not getting on board. Life will go on without me. You can always find someone else.”
Elara stood up and walked past Priscilla.
Priscilla clenched her teeth, thinking about her stake in Quantum Tech, about the team of experts she had brought in from Ohm Technologies. They had spent three days trying to crack Elara’s frame model and still couldn’t make sense of it.
She clenched her teeth so hard her jaw ached.
“Elara!” Priscilla called out to Elara.
Elara stopped in her tracks, hearing Priscilla’s voice from behind her.
“I honestly never would have thought someone like Abel and Daphne could have a daughter like you.”
Elara’s lips curled into a faint smile as she said, “I appreciate the compliment.”
Priscilla scoffed. She had traveled all the way to Summit Academy to see Elara and personally stepped in to teach the Fisher family and that snobbish teacher a lesson. She thought Elara would appreciate it because it would give her the upper hand in negotiations.
But Elara was damn near impossible to sway.
Priscilla made her decision in an instant. She had never been one to hesitate.
“I’ll have the contract sent over,” she said.
Elara’s Tips curved slightly. Priscilla had caved.
At that, Elara finally turned to face her. “I’ll be waiting.”
Priscilla’s expression hardened. “Elara, one last piece of advice for you. Joss Tech belongs with Price Nation. If you sell it to Snapp Group, you’ll be sending them straight to hel.”
Elara tilted her head, her gaze steady.
“I’m not exaggerating.” Priscilla added.

Elara asked, “Oh? And what exactly will happen to Snapp Group?”
Priscilla replied, “If you won’t listen to me, then just wait and see.”
Elara wasn’t about to waste time deciphering cryptic warnings. She simply turned, walked off, and reached for her daughter’s hand.
With the deal settled, Priscilla left the hall.
The moment she stepped outside, she spotted a familiar figure sprinting toward the entrance.
Lesley’s heart pounded when she saw Priscilla emerge alone. She swallowed hard, trying to steady her breath as she said, “Mom.”
She called out just as Elara and Merida stepped outside.
Elara caught the way Lesley addressed Priscilla, her gaze flickering with confusion.
