The moment he heard the name “Elara“, Harvey’s eyes widened in shock. That name pierced his heart like countless tiny needles, sending waves of pain through his entire body.
Niamh cupped his face in her hands. “Harvey, I want to save you! Please, I’m begr you–save me too!”
Harvey tried to lift his leg, but with Niamh straddling him, he couldn’t shake her off.
“Get off!” he roared as Niamh’s face loomed closer in his vision.
With a sudden twist, Harvey rolled violently, sending both of them crashing to the ground.
“Ahh!” Niamh screamed in pain while Harvey scrambled up in a panic, his body writhing as he desperately put distance between them.
Niamh lay on the floor, writhing. “Harvey! How could you do this to me? It hurts!”
Harvey glared down at her with an icy gaze. She was barely covered by scraps of fabric. Then, his heart lurched violently, pounding so hard it felt like it might burst from his chest.
His vision blurred. As Niamh cried out in pain, her face twisted–and for a split second, it wasn’t her anymore. It was Elara’s.
In that instant, something savage roared to life inside him. His blood burned, and his body trembled uncontrollably.
“Harvey!”
Niamh crawled toward him on hands and knees.
Harvey stood frozen, the edges of his irises tinged crimson, Hot breath rushed from his nostrils, condensing into a fine mist above his lips. When Niamh realized he wasn’t moving, she reached out from the floor and grabbed his ankle.
The second her fingers touched him, Harvey’s pupils contracted sharply. Just like that, the illusion shattered- Elara’s face dissolved like mist.
Niamh’s features returned to focus, and the violent thrumming in his chest faded. The fire in his veins cooled in an instant, and Harvey kicked her hand away.
“Harvey?” Niamh’s confused gaze filled with hurt.
“I have zero interest in you that way! Stop disgusting me!” He spat the words coldly before turning back toward
the door.
Niamh watched as Harvey kicked the door violently. “Is anyone out there?”
He refused to believe that no one would pass by this office during a cocktail party. If he made enough noise, someone would hear and let him out.
“Let me out!” he continued.
Meanwhile, Niamh struggled to push herself up from the floor. “Harvey, stop shouting. If Elara locked us in here, she wouldn’t let us out!”
Rage burned across Harvey’s face as he turned to snap at her. “Get your phone out and call the police“:
Niamh pouted. “I left my phone in the next coon.”

Chapter 376
There was no way she’d actually give Harvey access to a phone and let him call for help.
Harvey knew Niamh was lying. He marched to the pile of her clothes and stomped on them, searching through the fabric for a phone.
Niamh eyed Harvey’s suit pants and asked, “Harvey, is your phone on you?”
“In my pocket,” Harvey answered curtly.
“Let me get it for you,” Niamh offered.
