Niamh stood up and moved toward him. Sensing her approach, Harvey whirled around to face her with a guarded expression
“Don’t bother.” His voice was hard, his entire body radiating wariness toward her.
Niamh didn’t understand his refusal. “Let me get your phone! Then we can call for help!”
Harvey didn’t believe a word she said he’d already seen the desire in her eyes. He knew Niamh had feelings for him.
This woman would gladly use the drug as an excuse to devour him whole. His phone was in his pants pocket. If he let Niamh reach for it, who knew what lines she might cross?
Harvey pressed his back against the door. “Stop! Don’t move!”
He tried to command her with his voice. “Stay away from me!”
“Harvey! Are you afraid you won’t be able to control yourself?” Niamh couldn’t suppress a smirk.
She pretended to reassure him. “Don’t worry about hurting me. If you keep holding back, you’ll only hurt yourself!
Before she could finish speaking, the drug’s effects surged through her, driving her to lunge at Harvey. “Just let me get your phone! Why are you so scared of me?”
Suddenly, a sharp click sounded behind Harvey. He spun around and saw that the door was opening,
Harvey’s eyes widened in shock, then flooded with desperate hope as light streamed in from outside. Had someone come to save him?
The door swung open to reveal Theodore, now changed into fresh clothes. His striking eyes swept over Harvey from head to toe.
Theodore snorted. He’d never seen Harvey look so disheveled before. His shirt was crumpled, and his pants were askew.
Harvey panted heavily. When he saw Theodore standing before him, he knew escaping wouldn’t be easy.
He didn’t care that Theodore witnessed his disheveled state Harvey prepared to shove past Theodore and make a run for it.
Theodore immediately saw through his plan. Taking a step forward, Theodore shut the door firruly behind him.
Harvey’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Why are you closing the door?”

Niamh peeked out from behind Harvey, studying Theodore curiously. Had he been drugged too? But why willingly enter this room?
Theodore stood before the door and pulled a small plastic bag from his pocket. Inside was a tiny white pill. He said, “I have one antidote here. Who wants it?”
Harvey’s pupils contracted sharply at the sight of the antidete. He whirled around to glare at Niamh, who Immediately lowered her head, unable to meet his furious paze.
After providing Niamh with the aphrodisiac drug, Harvey had given her a small bottle of antidote as a precaution. It was in case someone accidentally ingested the drug at the crowded party, and they could administer emergency
treatment.
