Chapter 378
Theodore spoke calmly, “I’ll count to three. Decide by then, or neither of you gets the antidote.”
With a smirk, he looked at Harvey and began, “Three…”
A vein pulsed visibly beneath Harvey’s forehead. Theodore was clearly toying with
m by offering the antidote.
“Give it to Niamh!” Harvey’s voice was ice. He refused to let Niamh take advantage of the drug’s effects to maul him freely.
“Give it to Harvey!” Niamh shouted.
Harvey felt his nerves throbbing beneath his skin, as if his blood pressure might burst through.
“Why the hell should I take it? So I can stay conscious while you assault me?”
Niamh flinched at his harsh words; that was exactly what she’d been thinking.
After berating Niamh, Harvey turned his fury on Theodore “You’re the one behind this! You had Elara’s assistant lure me here using her name!”
His voice was firm, convinced of his accusation. Sweat dripped down Harvey’s face as he panted heavily, like a caged beast growling at Theodore.
Theodore smirked and tossed the antidote onto the floor. Niamh immediately scrambled for it, then lunged at
Harvey.
“Harvey! Take the antidote!”

With his hands cuffed, he’d have no choice but to stay sober and watch as she forced the situation. That way, he couldn’t later claim they’d both been out of their minds.
When Niamh blocked his path, Harvey saw Theodore opening the door to leave. He tried to shove past her, but Niamh held firm.
“Harvey! Just take the damn pill!”
“Get off! I need to get out!” Harvey roared.
As he shouted, Niamh shoved the pill into his mouth and clamped her hand over his lips. Harvey felt the small tablet dissolve instantly on his tongue.
His eyes widened in fury, a choked growl escaping his throat. Helpless, he watched Theodore step through the doorway–only to close the door firmly behind him again.
Niamh grabbed Harvey’s neck with both hands, massaging his throat roughly.
“Ugh!”
The antidote slid down his throat. Harvey slammed Niamh aside without hesitation and lunged for the door. He twisted around, fumbling with the handle using his limited finger mobility, but Theodore had already locked it from outside.
“Theodore Snapp! Open the goddamn door!”
Harvey kicked the door in frustration, the impacts echoing through the room. Meanwhile, Niamh clung to him like melted rubber, her entire body burning.
“Harvey! Help me out!”

Chapter 378
Fueled by the drug’s effects, she tore wildly at his shirt.
Veins bulged across Harvey’s neck like gnarled tree roots. His back hit the door just as he heard the sharp clink of his belt buckle releasing
“No!” His screams reverberated off the walls.
Back at the ballroom, several elite tycoons glanced around. One asked curiously, “Where’s Mr. Fisher?”
“Mr. Fisher punched Mr. Snapp. Ms. Jones would never let him stay after that, so he’s probably gone.”
Another tycoon chuckled. “Ms. Jones banished her ex–husband from the company building. Is she trying to make an enemy of the Fisher family?”
“Then she’d better pray Mr. Snapp never tires of her. The moment he discards her, the Fishers will crush her underfoot.”
