Chapter 87
“Well, slap me sideways and call it a miracle!” Tobias cursed outright.
“Dr. Snapp!” Wayne frowned in displeasure.
“You’re just a walking bowl of poison soup filled with bad intentions!”
Wayne immediately went silent.
Why
hasn’t the government used your face to test bulletproof vests yet?” Tobias scoffed. “And now you’re telling people to withdraw? Your scheming is so loud, it’s giving me a headache!
“Listen up–Elara is not dropping out! With her skills, she’s going to take the gold medal!”
Wayne chuckled. “Dr. Snapp, you must not have heard yet. Thanks to numerous requests from the contestants, the finals now have an additional challenge round.
“The top 20 finalists can challenge each other to head–to–head problem–solving duels.”
The other students looked at Elara as if they were just waiting for her to embarrass herself.
“Your prized student winning this challenge round? Not going to happen. A housewife winning gold? Yeaht, in her dreams.”
Elara finally spoke. “Wayne, if I win the gold medal, you and everyone who has disrupted Dr. Snapp’s life must publicly apologize to him.”
Wayne crossed his arms. “Talk is cheap! If you actually win every challenge and take gold, I’ll twist my head off and let you use it as a soccer ball!”
Elara smirked. “Let’s be realistic. How about a punishment you can actually go through with?”
A male student behind Wayne scoffed. “If Elara wins the gold, Wayne will do a spinning handstand while… you know… taking a dump!”
Elara went silent. The sheer horror of that mental image was something she’d rather not witness.
Wayne felt like his own teammate had just shoved him straight into a pit of doom. He turned while hissing, “What the hell are you saying?”
His classmate mumbled, “You’re the president of the breakdancing club. A spinning handstand while shitting shouldn’t be that hard for you, right?”
Wayne’s entire face turned red. This wasn’t about difficulty! If he actually did that, someone would definitely call the cops!
“I support that.”
A voice came from the doorway. Theodore had been standing there for a while, observing the exchange. He strolled into the room and stopped beside Tobias.
“Dad, you’ve never seen someone doing a spinning handstand while pooping, have you? Want to watch?”
Tobias rubbed his nose, somewhat hesitating. “Would I have to watch it live?”
The mere thought was terrifying.
Elara chuckled. “I’d rather not witness that in person either

Chapter 87
Theodore turned to the other Capitol University students. “Alright, then. If Elara wins gold, you all will form a circle, film Wayne’s performance, and send us the video. Deal’s done!”
“Why the hell should I listen to you people?” Wayne’s face turned red with Tage.
Elara finally spoke. “If I don’t win the gold medal…”
Wayne immediately cut her off. “Then I want Dr. Snapp to publicly apologize, admit to his incompetence as ant educator, and voluntarily resign as dean!”
Elara’s gaze snapped to Tobias. Now she understood–these Capitol University students weren’t just targeting her, their real objective was Tobias.
But why? Tobias had no direct conflicts of interest with them. What did they stand to gain from forcing him to resign?
Tobias chuckled upon hearing Wayne’s demand, and the wrinkles on his face deepened with amusement.
“Alright, alright! Then it’s settled. You have my word.”
His sharp, hawk–like eyes swept over the group of Capitol University students. Many of them, unable to withstand his penetrating gaze, instinctively lowered their heads.
“I’ll be waiting to see you all covered head to toe in Wayne’s crap!”
Just then, a household staff approached, handing out documents to the students one by one.
Theodore spoke calmly. “These are my lawsuits against you. Court summons will be arriving soon.”
Wayne’s face twisted in anger as he realized Theodore was pressing charges against them for unlawful entry. He threw the papers to the ground and barked through gritted teeth, “Don’t push your luck!”
The
e other students quickly grabbed Wayne, urging him to leave. “Let’s just go.”
None of them dared take this fight to court–going up against Theodore would be like throwing themselves into a financial abyss.
With that, the group left in shame, and the Snapp residence finally returned to peace.
Elara turned to Tobias. She was about to speak. “Dr. Snapp”
Tobias cut her off in a firm voice. “What you need to do now is win that gold medal! I believe in you. You can do it!”
Determined, Elara stayed at the Snapp residence to focus on solving problems. Over an hour later, she got up to
use the restroom.
As she walked back, she passed by Theodore’s room. Out of the corner of her eye, she accidentally caught a glimpse of his broad, powerful back.
The man was treating his own wounds, but doing it alone was proving difficult.
Elara watched as he poured antiseptic over his shoulder–only for the liquid to completely miss the wound and soak into the white fabric on his lower back part.
