Chapter 93
“Pull throttle, left tum.
“Right three. Downhill coming up, ease off the gas!” Theodore said.
Elara had tried to memorize as much of the off–road course as possible through the route book, but there was no time to think at this speed.
At this moment, Theodore was her brain.
His commands were sharp and precise. Mount Clockwork’s complex terrain had unfolded like a 3D model in his mind.
Like a grandmaster surveying the chessboard, he guided Elara through every twist and turn.
“Harvey! Go for it!” Niamh noticed Harvey picking up speed and shouted in excitement.
She had long forgotten where she had thrown the co–driver’s route book. At this point, she was just along for the
ride.
Harvey didn’t need a co–driver anyway. He only trusted his own judgment.
He had personally helped design and plan the Mount Clockwork racecourse, so he knew every treacherous turn better than anyone.
Black Hole raced alongside the other competitors in the second pack, while Corona had already left them far behind
Up ahead, Corona executed a near–perfect U–turn drift on a sharp bend.
Harvey’s dark eyes widened in shock at this. He had watched Corona dominate the racetrack before.
The original owner of Corona was incredibly low–key. All Harvey had ever known was that she went Luna–and that she was a female racer.
the name
Beyond that, he had never been able to uncover any concret details–no face, nor any personal background. Not even when he tried to investigate her.
Never in his life had he expected to one day go head–to–head with Corona.
“Harvey! Go recruit Luna for our racing team! I want her to be my mentor!”
Dawn’s voice echoed in Harvey’s mind. Back then, when he had used his connections to get Luna’s contact information, the only news he received was–she was preparing to retire.
Later, Corona went up for auction. Harvey had been there as well.
He had intended to buy it, but the price had skyrocketed from the very first bid.
As a businessman, Harvey loved racing, but he never made deals that didn’t make financial sense. Overpaying for Corona wasn’t worth it.
After raising his bid a few times, he withdrew from the competition.
To his surprise, the one who had purchased Corona at an exorbitant price… was Theodore Snapp. Now, Theodore had somehow managed to bring Luna back to the track five years later.
This man–his greatest rival–never failed to push boundaries.

Chapter 93
A fire ignited in Harvey’s chest. The moment he set his sights on a goal, his speed surged,
Niamh instantly felt the shift. She knew Harvey was fully serious now.
Corona had forced him into the fight, like a lion chasing its prey acrohe wilds. The next moment, 1 plunged into the blackout zone.
This was a special feature of the off–road tournament–apich–dark segment of the track, designed to test a racer’s instincts. There was not a single light source.
Towering trees blocked out even the moonlight, leaving the entire area in absolute darkness.
“Harvey, turn on the headlights!” Niamh shouted, but Harvey made no move to do so.
One by one, a dozen other cars entered the blackout zone–bone of them turned their lights on.

In this race, turning on your headlights meant handing your competitors a roadmap. Harvey had memorized every turn of this segment. He was relying entirely on instinct and muscle memory, flooring the gas in complete darkness.
Even through her helmet, Niamh could hear the collisions. Somewhere in the pitch–black void, cars were crashing. She clutched her helmet in terror, and her scalp was prickling. It felt as if she and Harvey were trapped inside a sealed capsule, with danger closing in from all sides, leaving them nowhere to escape.
“1,000 feet, right. 1,300 feet, left. Left three, over crest. Crest, 1,000 feet, tight turn.”
Inside Corona, Elara and Theodore moved as one. Every time Theodore gave an instruction, Elara executed it without hesitation.
