Chapter 94
Theodore mentally mapped out the entire off–road track once again. A smirk played at the corners of his lips, and there was a flash of amusement in his eyes.
“The road ahead is clear. Lama, floor it!”
Corona, still racing at full speed in complete darkness without headlights, surged forward. Elara trusted Theodore completely, and at last, they broke through the blackness and caught sight of the light.
The roaring engines grew louder as the race cars approached. Spectators at the finish line craned their necks, anticipation thick in the air.
After entering the blackout zone, the large screen behind the grandstands had also gone dark. It left everyone in suspense no one knew which car would be the first to emerge from the darkness and hit the final stretch.
Beau stood on the railing. His tiny frame was bracing against the cold wind as his wide eyes fixed on the distance.
Suddenly, a sleek black race car burst into view. The massive screen flickered back to life, and the crowd erupted into cheers and shouts.
It was Corona!
Corona had broken out of the blackout zone in the lead. Right behind it, closing in fast, was Black Hole which was driven by Harvey.
“Luna! Daddy!” Beau shouted at the top of his lungs.
His voice was raw with excitement. He prayed silently while clasping his hands together.
“Please let both of them win!”
The floodlights illuminated Harvey’s dark, intense gaze. With Corona right in front of him, his competitive instincts ignited completely.
Even after countless high–stakes battles in the business world, where he had been backed into comers and pushed to his limits, he had never experienced such an adrenaline rush.
Yet now, with Corona just within reach in this race, his pulse pounded like never before.
The self–restraint and discipline he had worn like armor were stripped away. Like a wild predator in full sprint, he had only one instinct to devour his prey.
Yet, the finish line was less than two miles away!
Corona blazed across the finish line! The moment it did, the crowd at the finish line erupted into an explosion of
cheers.
Confetti cannons fired in celebration, showering golden ribbons over Corona’s sleek body like a shimmering rain of victory.
“Wow!” Beau’s mouth hung open in astonishment, his wide eyes fixated on Corona.
He clutched his chest, as if a golden arrow had pierced through him, completely capturing his heart.
Corona had defeated Black Hole. Luna had beaten his dad.
From that moment on, Luna was an unbeatable legend in his eyes!
Harvey pulled Black Hole over to the side of the track.

He yanked off his helmet and unzipped his racing suit, but he didn’t even have the strength to undo his seatbelt. Slumped against the seat, he gasped for breath as his chest rose and fell rapidly.
It felt as though someone had injected pure adrenaline straight into his velns–even though the race had ended, his blood was still boiling. The wild urge to fight and conquer still roared inside him.
It had been a long time since he had felt this way.
Niamh turned to look at him and was stunned to see that Tarvey was drenched in sweat. His hair was soaked, clinging in damp strands to his forehead.
Beads of sweat trickled down the sharp contours of his face running in thin streams along the chiseled lines of his jaw. Droplets gathered at the edge of his angular chin before falling, one by one.
His dark eyes carried a dazed, almost intoxicated glimmer, like a man high on a dangerous thrill.
His expression–flushed with pleasure, then drained from exhaustion–was something Niamh had never seen before.
She had never seen Harvey like this. She had never seen him sweat so much, nor seen him breathe so hard.
The man’s ragged breaths were intoxicating, filling the enclosed car with a thick, overwhelming charge of masculinity.
Heat rushed through Niamh’s body as she took in this side of Harvey. He was completely different from the man she knew.
Her gaze grew hazy. This Harvey… The raw, untamed energy of him felt like a potent drug–dangerous, addictive. A reckless urge took hold of her. She wanted to kiss him.
She leaned in, drawn like a moth to a flame. Then… A sudden gust of cold air blasted into the car, making Niamh shiver violently.
The shock jolted her back to her senses. She snapped upright, only to see that Harvey had already pushed open the door and stepped out.
“Harvey!” Her voice fell flat against the night air.
He never looked back.
Instead, she watched as his tall, commanding figure moved with quiet determination–helmet in one hand.
Harvey was striding straight toward Corona,
