At the front of the church, a girl with long hair
was facing away.
Jake walked slowly.
“Sarah, come home with me.”
Liam said, “Sarah, I’m a good doctor, I can
help you.”
The girl turned around, smiling sadly.
She held a box. “She’s in here.”
Jake froze.
Liam ran forward, trying to grab the ashes
from Mary.
Mary slapped him. “Don’t touch her with your
dirty hands!”
“Everyone can hurt her, just not you!”
“Her hands were frozen at the diner washing
the dishes. Now she can’t even live, and you!
You supported Lily and bullied her and ruined
her life!”
Liam shook, then dropped to his knees.
He covered his face. “Please, I just…”
He paused. “I just liked her.”
“I didn’t want to like my sister, so I did
things!”

Then Jake hit him.
Jake screamed, “How could you want my
sister?”
“And how can you, Jake, who’s always been
her brother? She looked up to you.” Liam
screamed.
“She wanted you to look at her, did you do
that? No one sees me or even cared!”
Jake paused, then got angry.
They started fighting.
Mom stood at the door, watching.
Lily came up to Mom, asking.
“Mom, what’s happening?”
Mom turned and slapped Lily across the face.
“Don’t call me Mom, you’re a bastard!”
Lily tried to run, but Mom pinned her to the
ground.
She screamed.
Jake and Liam stopped.
They just looked at Lily.
“You did this! It’s all your fault!”
“You killed my sister!”

The director cut the feed.
The internet was talking about me.

People were talking about me on the internet.
They were helping me.
They said I was a good person.
They started writing about Lily, bullying
others in high school.
People said Lily was not kind and good.
