Chapter 121
Seeing Mandy’s arrogant and sarcastic look. Victoria felt furious. She thought, This woman is so rude!
However, given the circles she was in, where even arguments were wrapped in polite language, she found that she wanted to curse someone out but just couldn’t come up with anything blunt enough
While Victoria was angry, Brynn remained calm. She smiled at Mandy and took out her phone to make a call.
Seeing this, the mockery in Mandy’s eyes grew. “You are out of money, so you started asking for help, right? Who are you calling? Your poor husband?”
Brynn ignored Mandy.
Mandy thought she had guessed the truth and became even more smug. “No, I heard that the man you married is just an ordinary person. He definitely can’t afford this, so-”
Mandy fixed her gaze on Zoe. “You’re calling your sugar daddy, right? Are you a mistress for some old man? Is this child your illegitimate child with him?”
Hearing Mandy’s increasingly unpleasant words, Victoria couldn’t bear it anymore. “Have you
had enough!”
“Are you mad, old lady?” Mandy looked at Victoria suspiciously. “Who are you? Are you some poor relative of Brynn’s?”
Zoe angrily stood in front of Victoria, tilting her little head up and widening her eyes to glare at Mandy. “You’re a bad woman. Don’t talk trash about my grandma.”
“Grandma?” Mandy suddenly felt confused about their relationship.
She thought, ‘So, Brynn has a sugar daddy, and this little girl is their child. She called the old woman grandma, so the latter must be the mother of Brynn’s sugar daddy.
“But this woman doesn’t look rich at all. Her clothes aren’t even designer brands:
Before Mandy could figure it out, Brynn had already gotten through on the phone. “Hello, is this the Consumer Protection Office?”
Hearing Brynn’s words, Mandy was bewildered. She thought, “Wasn’t she going to call her sugar daddy? Why was she calling the Consumer Protection Office?
Brynn continued, “I want to report someone for randomly setting prices and deceiving consumers. Would it be convenient to send someone over?”
Mandy finally came back to her senses, but she was not afraid. Instead, she laughed out loud.
She said. “Brynn, you are so naive. Our store has been around for over a decade. Do you think we’ve made it this far without any connections?”
Seeing Brynn hang up the phone and look at her, Mandy suddenly became even more smug and spoke even more brazenly. “Forget the Consumer Protection Office. Even if you called the president, there’s nothing you could do to me.”
The president wouldn’t be bothered with a small clothing store, so Mandy wasn’t fazed.
“Really? It seems your store has some serious problems, Victoria suddenly said in a cold voice.
After saying that, Victoria called someone. “I’m at the Joy Mall, second floor, inside a clothing store called Petal Clothing.
“There’s something wrong with this store. Send two people to investigate. Ten minutes!”

She thought, Ten minutes? Does she think she’s starring in a movie or something? Anyone can talk big, and I could say I know the president.
Just as she was about to fire back, however, several people in the Consumer Protection Office uniforms appeared. After glancing around, they walked straight towards her store.
Mandy was stunned, and she couldn’t believe what she saw. She thought. They must be passing by, right? They’re not coming at me.
Unfortunately, they walked directly into her store.
They showed their badges and said with stern expressions, “We received a report that your store is suspected of consumer fraud. We need you to shut down for rectification.”
