Chapter 139
When Brynn gathered her composure and went to the classroom, she expected it to be as noisy as before. However, before she even entered, she heard the sound of reading books aloud coming from inside.
Looking in through the window, she found the students who were still making a racket yesterday were all reciting the Foundations of Traditional Medicine. They were so focused that they didn’t even notice Brynn at the door.
Brynn was very pleased to see this.
She coughed to interrupt everyone and walked towards the blackboard. “Class is starting. Everyone, go back to your seats”
Seeing her, the classroom suddenly fell into chaos, and it took a while for everyone to settle down.
What Brynn was talking about was still theoretical knowledge, but she didn’t intend to follow the book. Instead, she asked, “Have you seen action movies? Are you interested in acupressure?”
Speaking of this, the students, who were still a little loose, suddenly perked up.
“I do. My favorite is the acupuncture treatment in Points of Pressure.”
“I think it’s cool to hit the top of the spine. With just a touch, you can’t speak.”
Seeing everyone talking, Brynn smiled mysteriously. “Then do you think this kind of technique can be practiced in reality?”
“No way. If you really have this ability, you’ll be able to do whatever you want.”
Although they all liked action movies, they were no longer children who thought that those techniques were real.
Brynn said, “It’s unrealistic to do whatever you want, but as long as you have a thorough understanding of acupoints, it is possible to make someone mute for a few seconds.”
Hearing that, their eyes lit up. Jeffrey shouted excitedly, “Really? Can you do it? I volunteer!”
Everyone laughed when they heard this.
Brynn didn’t answer directly. She just walked up to Jeffrey and quickly tapped near his throat and the lower part.
Jeffrey felt his body go numb. He subconsciously wanted to ask her what she was doing, but he found that he couldn’t say anything.
When the others saw Jeffrey like this, they also found it hard to believe.
Brynn said slowly, “This is the top of the spine. Stimulating it can disrupt the medulla oblongata–at best, it causes temporary speech loss; at worst, it can lead to permanent muteness or even a lifetime coma.”
Hearing that, Jeffrey panicked and pleaded with Brynn to save him with his eyes. He did say that he could be a teaching tool, but he didn’t want to be mute forever.
Seeing how cowardly he was, Brynn couldn’t help but laugh. She quickly tapped two more acupoints on his neck.
Jeffrey felt his body suddenly relaxed, and he blurted out, “You did it. That’s amazing.”
Brynn asked with a smile, “So, can you study with all your heart now?”
“Yes, I will definitely study hard,” Jeffrey said excitedly, never having been so eager to learn.
The other students in the class felt the same way.

Chapter 139
It wasn’t until the bell rang and Brynn announced the end of class that everyone finally stirred, still reluctant to leave.
They all agreed that Brynn’s lectures were lively and engaging–worlds apart from the usual rote memorization. Most impressively, her acupoint technique felt almost magical.
Before leaving. Brynn praised Jeffrey, “You did well today. Keep it up.”

Jeffrey smiled in praise, but he still said arrogantly, “I just didn’t like books. Actually, I’m very smart, unlike Josh, who was born a stupid one.”
Josh thought, ‘Do you have to drag me into this while bragging?‘
He was a little angry and wanted to refute, but he had to admit that Jeffrey was right about him.
Josh was even more irritated.
When the others gradually left, Brynn looked at Josh, who was still sitting there sulking and couldn’t help but smile.
She walked up to Josh and asked with a smile, “Are you feeling frustrated?”
Josh clenched his fists. “Yes. I didn’t like what he said. I won’t always be a slow learner.”
“That’s right. Keep up the fighting spirit.” Brynn said with relief, “I believe you can do it.”
Josh, encouraged by her affirmation, became more determined. Seeing that Brynn was about to leave, he said subconsciously, “Mrs. Johnson.”
Noticing Josh’s hesitant look, Brynn said, “What’s wrong?”
Josh summoned up his courage and said quickly, “Well, are you free tonight? I’d like to invite you to my house for dinner.”
Jeffrey, who was eavesdropping outside, gasped when he heard this. He thought, ‘How dare he?
‘Is he asking Mrs. Johnson to go home with him? Isn’t he afraid that she’ll just paralyze him with her acupoint techniques?”
