Meanwhile, after chatting with her fans in the live channel for a bit longer, Brynn finally ended the stream.
She let out a long sigh. Tonight’s stream had really been one twist after another for her.
“Better get to bed early.”
Muttering to herself, Brynn reached out to shut down her computer, ready to take a shower.
However, the moment she looked up, she was met with the sight of Dominic standing in the doorway–shirtless, with only a loosely wrapped bath towel around his waist.
Brynn was completely stunned.
The man’s sculpted upper body was on full display–defined muscle lines, tight abs, and broad shoulders that practically radiated raw masculinity.
Brynn instinctively gulped. Although she had spent her night with Dominic before, she had been drunk at the time, her vision blurry and hazy. She hadn’t been able to see his physique this clearly at all.
And the more killing part? The towel around his waist was tied so casually, hanging loosely as if it could slip off at any
moment.
Leaning against the doorframe, Dominic tilted his head slightly, flashing her a teasing smile. “So, are you sleeping in the master bedroom or the guest room tonight?”
His deep, magnetic voice washed over her, paired with that chiseled face and those hazel, piercing eyes–every inch of him exuding an irresistible allure.
His damp hair still carried droplets of water, and one of them trickled down, rolling from his hairline to his chest, then all the way down his firm abs… before disappearing beneath the towel.
Oh god,’ thought Brynn. Her eyes were glued to him, and even her previous frustration over Maris was completely forgotten.
Dominic was practically a walking temptation. Brynn felt herself turning red at an alarming speed, snapping out of her daze only after a long moment.
“Ahem…” Brynn cleared her throat awkwardly, her gaze darting away. “Uh, the guest room.”
If she had a mirror right now, she was certain she’d see her face glowing like a tomato.
“But-” Dominic spoke up, folding his arms as he stepped into the study, and closing the distance between them with slow, deliberate steps.
Brynn backed up, only to find herself cornered against the chair the next second.
“W–What are you doing?” Startled, she looked up at Dominic with wide eyes.
Dominic leaned in close, his lips nearly brushing against her ear as he spoke in a low, gentle voice. “But, sweetheart, the guest room bed hasn’t been made yet.”
His breath was warm against her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Brynn stammered, her ears burning as she turned escape.
“I… I–I’ll do it myself!”

But before she could take another step, her wrist was gently grasped. She turned back, only to see Dominic looking at her intently.
“Brynn, we’re legally married now. Are you… dissatisfied with me in some way?” asked Dominic,
This gentle, delibrate man–normally so composed–was now speaking with a hint of grievance, his voice almost sticky with subtle frustration.
The contrast was lethal. Brynn’s heart practically melted on the spot.
But speaking of dissatisfaction, the moment he said that, memories of that drunken night flashed through her mind, making her blush furiously.
She wasn’t dissatisfied–she was way too satisfied! And that was exactly what scared her.
Seeing her face turn an even deeper shade of red, her lips moving but failing to form a response, Dominic finally let go of her wrist.
He knew his wife was just too shy. And what else could he do? He could only spoil her.
“Alright, I’ll go make the bed,” he said gently.
With that, he turned toward the guest room.
Brynn watched him, and a pang of guilt settled in her heart.
‘Am I… being too mean?‘ she thought, biting her lip. ‘After all, we’ve already… done everything, and we are legally married. Sleeping separately… doesn’t really make sense, does it?‘
Taking a deep breath, she steeled herself, then hurried forward and grabbed Dominic’s hand.
Dominic turned around, looking at her in surprise.
“Forget making the bed. I–I’ll sleep in the master bedroom.” Brynn’s face burned. “But I, um… I need to shower first!”
The moment the words left her mouth, she felt like her entire body was on fire.
Without waiting for his response, she bolted into the bedroom, grabbed her clothes, and rushed straight into the bathroom.
Dominic watched her frantic retreat, amusement dancing in his eyes.
He wasn’t even insisting on sleeping together–he just didn’t want her to be alone, overthinking things. How could she be this adorable?
“What a little dummy,” he chuckled softly, his tone filled with indulgence.
He waited for Brynn in the bedroom. But on the other side, Brynn was hiding in the bathroom for what felt like forever, unwilling to come out.
She simply had no idea how to handle this situation–it was just too embarrassing.
So she had been hoping to wait until Dominic fell asleep. When the room outside finally quieted down, she cautiously cracked the door open and tiptoed out.
The room was dim, illuminated only by a soft night lamp. On the bed, Dominic lay with his eyes closed, his breathing steady.
Looks like he’s asleep,‘ Brynn thought.
