Brynn looked at Dominic, puzzled.
Dominic said calmly. “It’s not like your husband is broke. A hundred grand is nothing.”

Brynn sighed in relief, then looked up at Dominic. “Even if you can afford it, there’s no need to buy such an expensive dress!”
She wasn’t vain, and she didn’t care about gossip.
“But… the tag’s been ripped off. We can’t return it.”
“Well…”
Brynn glanced at the dress, hesitated, and then nodded. “Okay, I’ll keep it this time. But don’t you dare buy me such an expensive gift again!”
“Alright, whatever you say.”
Brynn couldn’t help but smile. “Thank you. The dress is really beautiful. I absolutely love it!”
Since it couldn’t be returned, she might as well enjoy it.
When they got home, Dominic said, “Do you want to try it on and
see if it fits?”
Brynn nodded. “Sure.”
While Brynn changed, Dominic waited on the living room sofa.
About ten minutes later, the click of high heels echoed from the stairs.
He instinctively turned around and was stunned by Brynn coming down from the second floor.
Brynn descended slowly. The red, diamond–studded dress shimmered under the lights. The fiery red color made her even more radiant.
Seeing her, Dominic stood up involuntarily.
The dress was perfectly tailored, accentuating Brynn’s figure.
As Brynn approached, Dominic’s throat tightened, and his heart raced.
Brynn, still thrilled with the beautiful dress, didn’t notice Dominic’s reaction.
“How does it look?”
Brynn’s eyes sparkled as she looked at Dominic, twirling to show off the dress.
“Gorgeous… absolutely stunning!” Dominic walked up to Brynn. “It would look even better if you put your hair up.”
“Really? Let me try.”
Brynn took the hair tie from her wrist and prepared to tie up her hair.
But just as she removed the tie, Dominic moved closer and took it from her.
Brynn was slightly startled. “You…”

Dominic lowered his head, gazing intently at Brynn, his voice low and husky. “Madam, let me help you”
He wrapped his arms around her, his long fingers gently threading through her hair.
His faint scent of pine was clear to Brynn because of their proximity.
Too close…
She could feel his firm chest against her and hear his pounding heartbeat..
His fingertips accidentally grazed her scalp, sending shivers down her spine.
Heat and an intimate atmosphere filled the space between them.
Brynn’s ears were burning. To ease the awkwardness, she quickly changed the subject. “Um, how did you know my size? 1 don’t think I ever told you…”
Dominic paused, then chuckled softly.
Finally, he spoke in a husky voice, “I don’t need measurements. I can tell just by looking.”
Just then, Brynn felt his breath hotter, and something pressed against her abdomen….
Brynn blushed.
“Madam, may I?” Dominic whispered close to her ear, his warm breath fanning her skin.
Brynn’s heart pounded. She opened her mouth. “I… ”
But before she could finish, Dominic, unable to resist, kissed her.
“Mmm!”
‘Damn it, I haven’t said yes yet!‘
But soon, she was lost in the deep kiss…
