Chapter 10
The day I went to apply for divorce, the weather was very good.
From beginning to end, I didn’t exchange a single word of nonsense with Kendrick.
When the staff asked if we confirmed the application, I nodded firmly. Kendrick looked at me with red eyes and said, “Judith…”
The staff impatiently interrupted him, “Sir, please answer me.”
He had no choice but to nod.
The program went smoothly, and I held the list and said to Kendrick, “I will remind you in a month, please make sure to be there.”
Official business is official business. He didn’t even have time to speak, and I had already stood up.
Before getting on the car, I saw Peyton standing by the side of the car.
“Why didn’t you wait for me in the car?”
During this period, the Morgan family was greatly affected by the divorce, and my father obstructed in many ways.
Peyton knew, and I don’t know what he told my father, but during this time, the Morgan family lived peacefully.
was very grateful to him.
He was much taller than me, standing by the car with a strong and intimidating presence.
“I was afraid Kendrick would go crazy, I stood here ready to rush out and save you,” he said seriously.
A face begging for praise.
I couldn’t help but tiptoe and touch his head, “You’ve worked hard. I’ll treat you to something delicious later.”
He was so happy that his face turned red.
Suddenly, a hoarse voice came from behind, sarcastic and piercing: “Judith, let me remind you, we haven’t finalized our divorce yet.”
I turned around and looked behind him, “Why didn’t Mr. Carlson bring your Kylie today? It’s such a nice day, you should be celebrating with her by candlelight.”
His lips moved, but he never uttered a word.
I nodded at him and said, “I won’t disturb Mr. Carlson and his beloved during their honeymoon. See you in thirty days.”
When the car started, Peyton deliberately revved the engine to the maximum.
Dust was flying in the air, and I saw Kendrick standing alone in the same spot through the rearview mirror, lonely and unwilling.
During the years I was married to Kendrick, I rarely went out to play.
He was busy, and my circle was also limited.
So when I started gradually recovering from being single, and having someone like Peyton around who knows how to have fun and make plans, I lived
happily every day.
He introduced his sister Raina Warner to me,
At the first meeting, we immediately hit it off.
She was cheerful, lively, lovely, and generous.
Whenever she came across a perfume bag that she liked, she always remembered to bring me a share. She would also let me enjoy her customized designer, and she would always ask me if I wanted to go wherever she was going to have fun.
I slowly came to understand that no matter what type of emotion, as long as it is maintained with sincerity, the other person will deeply perceive it.
The feeling of putting oneself in someone else’s shoes is truly wonderful.
Occasionally, some melodramatic stories reached my ears.
I heard that Kylie sued her father in court for abandonment.
The result, of course, was a defeat. The Morgan family did not allow such a stain to appear in the records, so they sent Kylie back abroad overnight.

Later on, I heard that Kylie cried and shared all the little details of her and Kendrick’s past on the internet. I took a glance.
All were just fleeting images, which she turned into a photo album and wrote with a pen the unsaid love words.
I found it funny.
Kendrick thought it was not funny and accused her of slander that day.
It caused a big commotion.
And I held onto the last tail of summer, camping on a private beach.
Three or five good friends, with plenty of food and drink.
When Raina happily pulled me to eat skewers, she was stopped by Peyton.
“Sis, can you please stop clinging to Judith all the time? Why don’t you go and date someone? I introduced so many handsome guys to you today, but you didn’t like any of them?”
He glanced at me with disdain and reached out to snatch my hand from his sister’s.

Raina suddenly pulled me closer with a backhand.
“Weren’t those the ones I asked you to pick for Judith? She was about to be single again, so let her see if there’s anyone she finds attractive.”
Peyton suddenly widened her eyes, “You,” “me” for a while, looking at me and then at her, finally managed to say, “Forget it, you are my real sister.”
I smiled and let Raina pull me away.
That night, the fireworks on the beach were particularly dazzling.
The message sent by Peyton on the phone: “Was it good–looking?”
My heart warned, knowing that he was worried about my bad mood tomorrow when I have to meet Kendrick.
“Good–looking, thank you.”
“Hehe:”
“By the way, don’t take my sister’s words seriously today, and also, those guys were all no good, trust me.”
Then attach a serious nodding dog emoji.
I laughed and replied to him under the fireworks in the sky, “Hmm, I trust you.”
“I
