Chapter 3
Before evening self–study, the two of them hurriedly came back. Reed’s face was not good, and he walked up to me and said, “Bella, you did it on purpose!”
???
No, you were fine. What nonsense are you talking about again?
Reed closed his eyes and struggled to speak softly, “You have achieved your goal, I accept you topping up my meal card.”
Oh, I ate a cold rice meal from the cafeteria and my brain got messed
up
when I came back.
He continued, “Keira had a stomach illness, she couldn’t eat cold rice. Are
e you satisfied now? But don’t think for a second that I would fall in love with you!”
I raised my voice incredulously, “I pay, and you two eat?”
He looked around nervously, seeing that no one was paying attention to this side, and resumed his aloof demeanor, saying, “Isn’t this what you wanted?”
I took a deep breath and, in order to stick to my plan, I intended to endure it, but I couldn’t bear it anymore! I pointed at him and scolded, “Do you two not have a father or a mother? Do you expect me to take care of you? I can see it now, you’ve been eating too much sweet and sour pork chops this year, haven’t you!”
“You didn’t agree?”
Of course, I didn’t agree. My money didn’t come from thin air, and I wouldn’t give it to him even if I raised pigs or dogs!
The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I took out the unwashed lunchbox from the drawer and hit him on the head.
“Want to eat well, find your mom! Don’t act like a dog just for a little food!”
Reed’s face turned as dark as the bottom of a pot. “Bella! You would regret it!”
I liked Reed, it was well known.
My classmates all thought that I was jealous of Keira, but in a few days, I would eagerly chase after her and become Reed’s lapdog.
It is obvious that Reed thought the same.
After school in the evening, the Rolls–Royce parked at the school gate. I got in and closed the door, instructing the driver, Scott Warren, to drive,
Scott exclaimed, “We are not waiting for Mr. Fuller today?”
I glanced at him and asked, “Where did the Fuller family’s son come from?”
“Did you have a quarrel with Mr. Fuller?”
“It’s not me saying this, but you have a hot temper! It’s normal for many girls to pursue Mr. Fuller, who is so outstanding! You can’t always get angry with him. Men, you know, have their pride. Just give him a few hundred thousand and appease him!”
This time I saw it clearly, behind Scott’s hypocritical face in the rearview mirror, there was a hidden calculation.
In my previous life, I only found out upon death that Scott was Reed’s father. He went so far as to change his surname in order to help his son climb up the Fuller family.
“Scott, are you deaf? That freeloader deserves to be called Mr. Fuller? Giving him hundreds of thousands, he’s just a brown–noser! What a joke! Drive!”
The last sentence I said was to Scott. Before that, I was influenced by him and thought that Reed was perfect in every way, and I was not worthy of him.
“Ah? This isn’t very good! Hey, Mr. Fuller is here, Mr. Fuller – over here
He confirmed the rumor that Reed was the son of the Fuller family with a single statement.
Reed saw me waiting for him and didn’t hurry to get on the car. He stood by the car, looking down at me from a higher position and said, “Keira has a stomachache, are you satisfied?”
I was furious. “Stop making a fuss! Her stomachache is because you two didn’t go to eat, fooling around in the classroom, it has nothing to do with me! Don’t blame me for everything!”
Scott looked at me and said, unwillingly, “I have to tell you a few things, Ms. Fuller, this is where you went wrong…”
1 interrupted him, “Scott! Don’t forget your place! Also, my dad is still here, it’s not your turn to lecture me!”

Scott sat back hesitantly, “I… I didn’t want you two to misunderstand…”
“Drive!”
How could Scott not let Reed get on the car? He even opened the door.
Reed’s first words were, “Bella, you truly were beyond help!”
Then, supporting Keira, “Keira, slow down.”
“Scott, as usual, send Keira first.”
“Ah, ah, good!”
I watched them coldly, Scott couldn’t stay.
In the past, I used to feel sorry for Reed living far away, so I always let Scott send him first. Reed also insisted on sending Keira first, so I would always arrive home late, and I couldn’t rest well at night.
In the morning, I hurried to pick them up again, leaving at least one hour early every day. My dad couldn’t see me at all, so he asked Scott. However, Scott said that I was playing outside and refused to come home, which made my dad increasingly disappointed in me.
