Chapter
Kendrick closed his eyes and whispered, “I can explain all of these…”
I certainly knew that he could explain.
In his sophomore year, he mistook Kylie, who was wearing my clothes, and kissed her.
On New Year’s Eve, Kylie suddenly had a stomachach
e and called th
family doctor to stay overnight.
However, these explanations were no longer important.
In countless moments, he moved his heart many times and experienced many emotions.
Only he himself knew.
Carrying a giant stone that was always ready to fall in my heart, our emotions have been bent.
The relationship completely broke down until Kylie appeared again.
I took out a document from my bag and handed it to him.
“This is the property division statement I have prepared during this period. See you at the courthouse next Monday.”
When I got up and left, Kylie suddenly knelt down on the ground and begged for my forgiveness.
She said she only hoped to see me and Kendrick make up as before.
I knew that she was just afraid of the Carlson family’s door and after today, it would never be opened for her.
I pulled her hand down little by little, with a cold tone, “Kylie, this time you won. If you can take Mrs. Carlson’s position, then take it.”
After saying that, I took a step forward and left her on the ground to face the disapproval and disdain from the Carlson family.
Kendrick didn’t go to help either.
Before getting on the car, Kendrick held me tightly in his arms, his eyes red.
“Judith, I didn’t cheat on you, believe me, okay.”
I freed myself from the constraints of men.
“You did not cheat on me.”
She went back to her country to attend a class reunion. You secretly went to pick her up without telling me, and together you forced me to sit in the back
seat.
“You knew I would care about you staying out all night, yet you still played games with her all night.”
“You made her follow you everywhere, attend all occasions, even going so far as to let me hear others‘ criticisms of me.”
“You knew I would silently endure, allowing her to run wild and provoke on my territory.”
“You said you hated people who couldn’t distinguish right from wrong, but what about you?”
His body suddenly trembled, and he reached out his hand to pull me, but I avoided him..
“Judith… I’m sorry…”
But I no longer needed the pale apology.
