When my sister and I were kidnapped by robbers, my father was spending his anniversary with his second wife
Chapter 1
My last life ended because my stepmother
wanted a vacation abroad. My dad,
accompanied by his entire security detail,
drove to the airport.
That’s when it happened. A group of robbers,
who’d been casing the joint for days, stormed
our mansion.
My little sister, Lily, protected me, she fought
them off. She was assaulted, almost killed.
I called Dad repeatedly, begging him not to
board the plane, to come back and save us.
Thankfully, he eventually returned with his
security team.
Lily and I were rescued.
But my stepmother, pregnant and awaiting
our anniversary celebration, spiraled into
depression because of Dad’s absence.
In a fit of rage, she jumped into the river, her
fate unknown.
My stepmother’s daughter, Tiffany, found Dad
with a suicide note, accusing Lily and me of
bribing the robbers to keep Dad away.
Dad didn’t believe it, comforting Lily and me.
But after handing over the company to
Tiffany, he poisoned our food.
He dumped us at a dog pound, leaving us to
be mauled.
From outside the fence, his eyes were cold.
“If it weren’t for you two, Tiffany and my baby
wouldn’t be dead. You should atone for it!”
“Lily’s enough for me. As for you two, you
deserve to die!”
I died, full of hatred.
Then I woke up again, back to the day of the
robbery.

The knock came.
I snapped back to reality, grabbing Lily who
was heading to the door.
“Sis?”
She was confused. “Did you order takeout?”
I said nothing.
We hid in the nearest storage room, then
opened the security app on my phone.
Seeing the footage, Lily gasped and covered
her mouth.
On the screen, a large, muscular man in black
stood at the door.
He held a metal pipe in his left hand.
“Don’t make a sound! Wait for him to leave.‘
I swallowed hard.

In my last life, we were caught off guard. Lily
opened the door, letting the robber in. If Dad
hadn’t arrived when he did…
Remembering the terror before my death, a
Г
chill ran down my spine.
“I’ll call Dad, tell him to come home!”
Lily stared at the phone screen in terror.
She grabbed her phone to call Dad.
“He just left, get the security team to
come…‘
وو
Then, the robber on the screen stopped
knocking.
My heart almost stopped beating.
Lily paused, and we watched the robber.
Just when I thought he was giving up, he
pulled a key from his pocket!
“Sis!”
Lily whimpered. I never expected he’d have a
key to our house.
This meant the robbery wasn’t random; he’d
targeted us!
I called 911, giving them our location and
details.
Lily’s call to Dad connected.

Dad’s familiar voice answered, “Lily? What’s
wrong?”
“Dad!” Lily whispered, terrified. “There’s a
robber, he has a pipe. Can you bring
security?”
I huddled beside Lily, my heart pounding.
