Chapter 10
After several hours of rushing, the plane finally landed in Stratam
Luna pushed the sultrase and walked out, holding her phone and looking at the message she had received not long ago, I have arrived at the airport, have you arrived
“I just arrived.”
The message was just set, and she looked upto see Maten waiting in the lobby.
He was wearing a shirt and trousers, with gold–rimmed glasses. Every movement he made exuded a reflued and elegant demeanor. Occasionally, he would lower his head in check his phone, and then raise it again, his gaze constantly scanning the bustling lobby.
The moment Lama came out, he waved to her and stood up, wallding towards her.
Her eyes showed astonishment, but she didn’t expect that her once carefree childhood friend who used to bicker and argue with her would turn out like this
“What’s the matter, stunned?” The tall figure stopped in front of her, and then came his teasing words with a smile, “Once we get the license, you can watch for as long as you want.
Realizing her own loss of control, Lana’s ears turned red in an instant. She felgned composure and rolled her eyes at Mateo, retorting, “After all this time, you’re still so self–absorbed.”
He naturally took the suitcase from her hand and walked out with her.
1 had the capital, why couldn’t I be narcissistic?
Luna was momentarily speechless, looking at his sharply defined face, but unable to find any words to refute him. He was indeed very handsome.
From childhood to adulthood, he was always a popular figure on campus. He had good grades, looked handsome, and was the coolest guy that girls in school loved the most
He appeared to be a playboy, but he was incredibly innocent. Whenever a girl confessed her feelings to him, he would firmly reject, saying, “We are students, and our most important task is to study hard. How can we think about such messy things?”
Later, after high school graduation, they also went their separate ways. Although they didn’t specifically pay much attention to his news, they v
vaguely heard that he had never been in a relationship.
Thanking of this, she suddenly looked up at him and asked, “Back then, they all thought I was joking. Why did you agree to that seemingly absurd request?”
When the question was asked, the two of them had just arrived at the parking lot and stopped at the spot where he parked.
Mateo put her suitcase in the trunk, opened the passenger door for her, and only returned to the driver’s seat on the other side after she sat down. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow, “I thought you already knew.”
“What should I know? Luna was puzzled, frowning as she looked at him.
Seeing her still completely unaware, Mateo sighed softly and turned his gate away, not directly answering her question.
The car slowly drove out of the parking lot Just when Luna thought he wouldn’t answer anymore, he suddenly spoke, in his usual offbeat tone
“You have done such absurd things before, so of course I dare to believe it.” Pausing for a moment, the color of the street lamp ahead flickered for a few seconds and turned red, and the car slowly came to a stop. He turned to look at her, a smile in his eyes. “And what if? What it it’s true? Then I would have missed a great opportunity.”
His
is previous sentence made her slightly stunned, not the first time?
As thoughts whirled in her mind, in the Instant of locking eyes with him, she felt as if a lightbulb had switched on. What Mateo said, was it about her Maying in Karham for Sampel back then?
And his next sentence further confirmed this speculation
una finally realized belatedly, her ears tinged with a slight blush, and she awkwardly spoke up, “You don’t happen to like me, do you?”
The red light turned gros
“Yeah, I liked you.”
grem, the car restarted and hit the road, and his light laughter followed
Long, long ago, much longer than the time it took for you to fall in love with Samuel. Chider 10

When I was young and ignorant, I thought that as long as I caught your attention, you would understand my feelings. Little did I know that you were as
cold as a block of wood, running off to such a distant place and staying there for a man who didn’t appreciate you
But fortunately, I had enough patience to wait until you returned to my side.
